  As part of our ongoing committment to supporting local growers and producers....and bringing you the freshest food available....Whole Foods Market at Short Pump is hosting a Farmers Market each Wednesday in front of our store. Come support our local farmers and give your taste buds a treat with produce that comes straight from the farm!

  Half Pint Kids Club

  3:30-4:30 p.m. FREE

  Join Adrian every Thursday afternoon for fun craft and cooking activities in the cafe. Story time and snack is included. Recommended for children ages 3-8. Registration is required. Stop by customer service or call 364-4050 to sign up your child. Since art and cooking projects can be messy, please remember to dress for a mess! 

  July 2nd: Make an Independence Day hat and streamers.

  July 9th: Today we're making all-natural mini pizzas. Yummy!

  Five After Five

  5:00-7:00 p.m. $5.00

  Join us each Friday to sample five delicious dishes and five varieties of wine. Admission is $5.00 at the door. Proceeds benefit St. Joseph's Villa during the month of July. Plus, admission includes a souvenir Whole Foods Market wine glass.   You're invited to a sampling of summer favorites, including 4th of July must haves. We'll fire up the grill and have demos throughout the store for you to sample.

• Wednesday, July 8th

  Sip With Skirt - Fundraiser for MDA

  6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. $20.00

  Whole Foods Market and Skirt Magazine bring you Sip With Skirt, a FUNdraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Richmond Chapter. The event will be held in our beautiful cafe. You'll enjoy wine tasting, cooking demonstrations, and scrumptious hors d'oeuvres. Admission is $20 per person at the door and includes all of the above, plus raffle tickets for a chance to win a $50 Whole Foods Market gift card and a pair of designer shoes from South Moon Under. The first 50 attendees will take home a Whole Foods Market souvenir wine glass.

  Food, Inc. Movie Event at Movieland

  Whole Foods Market invites you to a panel discussion and reception following the 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. screenings of the new movie Food, Inc. at Movieland at the Boulevard on Saturday, July 11th.   Meet the growers and producers of some of your favorite local foods. They will be in the store throughout the day sampling their products for you to taste.

  Tonight Jesse will be teaming up with our wine expert, Daniel, for a special cooking and wine pairing class. Make sure to sign up early since his classes always fill up. Register at customer service or call us at 364-4050.

  Adopt-A-Pet

  11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

  Learn the basics of wine; from growing the grapes to tasting the finished product. Daniel, our wine expert, will be leading this informative and fun foray into the world of wine. Our value gurus will show you how to find the best in-store specials and bargains while still getting the highest quality items. Learn about our 365 Everyday Value products, and enjoy sampling some of them too.
