We roast coffee beans in our store daily. In an effort to supply our customers with the best coffee on earth, Whole Foods Market is dedicated to free and equitable trade with coffee growers around the world. From our own house brand, Allegro, to the many suppliers of our other coffee products, we strive to work with companies that supply their coffee growers with a living wage, far above the prices dictated by the international coffee market. Additionally, we work with growers who use environmentally sound practices like shade growing and compost fertilization. Meat & Poultry

By working in partnership with outstanding meat and poultry producers in the region, Whole Foods Market brings you the best-tasting, freshest and most wholesome meats available, raised without added hormones or antibiotics and not fed animal by-products. We offer a wide variety of meats, including game, duck, sausages made in-house, low-fat cuts, range-grown turkey and chicken. We make dining easy by creating oven-ready meals that include stuffed meats, kabobs, and burgers. Indulge in our Dry Aged meats that are aged in store for 21 days and produce a tender, juicy cut of meat, or try our selection of USDA Prime Graded Steaks. Our stores even feature a full service Meat Department where customers can place special orders, receive custom cuts, cooking instructions and personal recommendations from our experienced team members.

South Loop Smokehouse
A new addition to our stores is our in-house smokehouse. We season, slowly smoke and serve succulent cuts of meat that you can order and dine on in our store or take it home for a quick meal. Either way your mouth will be watering for more. Open 7 days a week in our meat department.

Prepared Foods

The Prepared Foods Department at Whole Foods Market is a culinary oasis for those in need of a quick meal or something to complement a family feast. Peruse the always-changing selection of entrées, salads and side dishes, handpicked from our wealth of resources. Warm up to ourchef-prepared dinners or curl up with a bowl of soup made by hand. We hand toss and bake pizza onsite, for sale by the slice or as a whole pie. Try an offering from our Panini Station or our Asian Grill. Our menu changes daily, especially on the salad bar and hot food bar, so stop by to check out our seasonal and regional specialties. We aim to delight our customers, and regularly prepare vegan, and vegetarian items.
