Our "Farmstand" is open 8:00am-10:00pm
Our Produce Team receives three deliveries each week from our friends Sara and Gideon Porth at Atlas Farm in South Deerfield. We are also getting occasional specialty produce items from Chris Kurth of Siena Farms in Sudbury, MA. In addition, we've got a large variety of other local produce which arrives here via our Regional Distribution Center in Cheshire, CT, which is very convenient for many of the farmers in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts.Be a Local yourself this week and roast an organic sugar pumpkin or an acorn squash from Western MA. Or, bake your own pie with local organic butternut squash; you can take a shortcut by using a frozen pie shell from the Bread & Circus Bakehouse in nearby Medford. Top your pie with a scoop of Sweet Scoops Maine Blueberry Frozen Yogurt. Prefer a different dessert? How about a cheesecake from Greyson Confections in Brockton? And, if you're a "local vegan" try the cakes in our bakery which are baked by Cafe Indigo in Concord, NH.
Many other local products can also be found in our aisles- Cindy's Kitchen's Dressings from Brockton in our Produce Department, Bear Pond Pesto and Stonewall Kitchen Jams in Specialty, Number 9 Salsa in Grocery... and, one of your favorites, Pumpin Frozen Yogurt from Sweet Scoops! So stop in and see what you find and please ask if you don't see the I'm a Local signage!

Feed Kids Now!
Throughout the year, Whole Foods Market Symphony offers shoppers the opportunity to purchase pre-packed bags of food and bodycare products to be donated to the Preventive Food Pantry at Boston Medical Center. By providing food, education in nutrition, and cooking demonstrations to nearly 5,000 patients per month, BMC is able to effectively fight against the ravages of malnutrition and hunger with both preventive and therapeutic measures. The bags of food you purchase are used by participants in different programs at BMC including the Grow Clinic which treats children with Failure to Thrive (FTT). Look for our display of brown paperbags with the white and red "Stop Children's Hunger" sign located near the last register in our store.
