Donation Requests
Thank you for your interest in including Whole Foods Market in your fundraising efforts. We are dedicated to working closely with and supporting our local community. There are many organizations in this wonderful community that we would be proud to support! The majority of our donations are in-kind, Whole Foods Market® product. Please include brochures and informational pieces about the benefiting agency if possible. How to Request a Donation (PDF)
Submit requests 6 weeks prior to the date needed, earlier if possible. In order to approve donation requests we need the following information submitted on letterhead from your organization:
- Name of Organization
- Name of Contact Person
- Address and Phone Numbers for Contact Person
- Specific Details as to:
- What you are requesting to be donated.
- How will the donation be used?
- Who will benefit from the donation?
- When do you need the donation?
- How many people will be participating in the event?
- How will Whole Foods Market Contribution be recognized?
Please include a copy of your 501(C)3 letter from the IRS granting your status as a non-profit organization. Requests without this letter will be denied.
Our Community 5% Days are another meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day's net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days.

A Community Partner is a nonprofit organization that we feel matches our Core Values and with whom we want to build an ongoing, mutually beneficial relationship. We choose our Community Partners carefully as we choose our vendors and products for our stores.
