Community Giving

At Whole Foods Market, we are active participants in our community. We are extremely proud of our community involvement and the relationships that we continue to make each month! We strive to make a difference.

Our Community 5% Days are one meaningful way we give back to our community. On designated days throughout the year a total of 5% of the day's net sales are donated to local non-profit organizations. Customers help support our selected organizations just by shopping on these 5% Days.

To be a 5% Day beneficiary, you must provide a staffed information booth on 5% Day. We encourage you to promote the day through your organization as well. Please take a moment to fill out our 5% Day Application and forward your request directly to the Marketing Department. We will contact you with further information.

Donation Request

Whole Foods Market also supports our local communities through our donation and sponsorship program. If you are a registered charity or a non-profit with an upcoming event and would like to submit a request for donation or sponsorship, you may download and print the form below and submit in person at Customer Service or fax to the attention of Marketing. All Donation Requests must be received in writing at least 8 weeks prior to an event. You must also include proof of charitable status along with your request. All requests are reviewed on a monthly basis and recipients will be notified as soon as possible. Incomplete forms will not be considered. We'd like to thank you in advance for using this form to help us process the large volume of donation requests that we receive. The best of luck in your work! Thanks for shopping at Whole Foods Market.
