From the minute you walk into Whole Foods Market you will know you're in a different kind of grocery store. Fresh flowers and the rich smell of roasting coffee beans will greet you when you walk in the door. The sight of artfully arranged fresh organic and conventional produce, reminiscent of the local farmer's market, will delight you. From there you'll make your way past our pizza oven, on to our aged meat case and past 40 feet of simply spectacular seafood and on to a wonderful array of hot and cold prepared foods.

Rounding out your store tour is a deli, sushi bar, grocery products, health care and nutrition and finally an amazing bakery department. Your trip won’t be complete without a visit to our coffee bar, complete with a custom roaster. Whole Hearth, our street level café on Avenue Road, is open 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Saturday and Sunday 8 am to 7 pm. Bakery

Nothing stimulates the senses like the smell of artisan breads, fresh-baked cookies and handcrafted pastries warm from the oven and baked with wholesome, natural ingredients. Come and sample a wide variety of hearth-baked, crusty breads and delectable treats reminiscent of the open-air markets of Europe. Everything, along with our scones, muffins and bagels are baked fresh everyday.

Cheese & Specialty Department

Our Specialty Team of cheese lovers have been searching the world to bring you the finest cheeses from around the corner and around the world. Come and explore our extraordinary collection of artisan and organic cheeses, including Canadian Oka, made from the original recipe created over 100 years ago by Trappist monks. You'll also find mouth-watering handmade pastas, olives and other exotic treats to indulge your senses.

You can also find the perfect chocolate to accompany our 22 varieties of fresh roasted coffee beans. Our team members are happy to assist you with your selections.

Floral

From amaryllis and apple blossoms to winter jasmine and wisteria, your Whole Foods Market has the season's best and most beautiful flowers in season. While selection varies from season-to-season, you can depend on us to supply simple favourites like roses, lilies and mums as well as exotic and seasonal stars such as tulips, orchids, potted herbs, flowering branches, and hydrangeas. The Prepared Foods Department here at Whole Foods Market is a culinary oasis for the perpetually rushed. The Produce Team is constantly searching out organic produce that meets our quality standards. If organic isn't available we will offer you the best conventional produce available — and we'll let you know, so you can decide what is best for you and your family.

Seafood

With 40 feet of delicious, fresh seafood displayed in Whole Foods Market you can begin to get a sense of the depths our Seafood Team will go to bring you a wide variety of the tastiest freshest seafood available. In fact we are the only supermarket to own and operate a waterfront seafood facility. Here seafood is hand-selected daily, right on the dock and delivered fresh to our stores including Whole Foods Market Toronto. Atlantic and Pacific salmon, sea scallops direct from the Maritimes — we only sell the best. You'll also find a variety of delicious seafood soups and chowders to try while you design the perfect seafood meal.
