One Dime At A Time for The American Red Cross, Southeast Michigan All Metro Detroit Locations Reusing your own bags now helps more than ever with our One Dime at a Time program. You can donate your bag refund simply by telling the cashier when you check out. Through March 31st, 2010, your dimes will be donated to The Southeastern Michigan Chapter of the American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers that provide relief to disaster victims, support to active and veteran military personnel and their families and the knowledge and skills to help our community prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.   Maple Syrup Time at the Stage Nature Center

  9 am-3:30 pmTroy Stage Nature Center, Troy Cost: $5.00, registration recommended

  March starts the flow of sap from the Maple Trees. We are proud to support the Stage Nature Center for a family fun day of exploring and sweet fun! Hike the trails and see how sap is collected; stop in the sugar shack to see the wood-stoked sap evaporator in action. The tour, designed for ages 4-adults, finishes with a tasting of our 365 Organic Mini Waffles and 365 Organic Pure Maple Syrup. Tours run every 30 minutes and last approximately 1.5 hours.  All proceeds support the Stage Nature Center.   What better place to find eggs than at the Troy Farm?   The kids will EGGsplore the Troy Farm, finding activities in every barn!  Outside, the kids can test their skills with the ever-so famous spoon-EGG races.  Let your child's imagination wander at the art station with coloring and crafts.  Finally, we will end the afternoon adventures with an Easter EGG Scramble & Hunt, where every child will find an all natural candy surprise from Whole Foods Market!   Reserve your spot fast for your only chance to meet the Easter Bunny and his furry friends! On this day, 5% of the three stores' net sales will be donated to The Detroit Science Center, whose mission is to inspire visitors to pursue and support careers in engineering, technology and science.
