  Summer Kick--Off Party

  Throughout the Day! Free!

  Join us for a Summer Kick-Off Party featuring three days of food, music and fun!

  On Thursday from Noon to 3pm, Olivia's Organics will be here giving away free sample size salads with dressing! Our Prepared Foods Department will be featuring Pulled Pork Sliders from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., made right in front of you! And from 5pm to 6pm come and enjoy Sound Session performers RPM Voices along with a visit from WBRU! Come and enter to win tickets to Sound Session! We have more live demonstrations and food sampling planned throughout the day!

  On Friday from Noon to 3pm come and hear Sound Session performers Hot Dolphin singing 90s cover tunes. Our Prepared Foods Team will be grilling your summer favorites from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and our newest local vendor from Providence, Top This Pizza Crust, will be here for sampling between 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. And from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. come see and hear Sound Session performer, and Black Rep musician Sidy Maiga on his drum! Other teams will be featuring live demonstrations and tastings through the day!

  On Saturday, July 4th, our Prepared Foods Team will be grilling your summer favorites from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and a live cutting of a wheel of Parmiggiano Reggiano at Noon!Other teams will be doing demonstrations and tastings throughout the day!

  Ice Cream Social to Benefit Make-a-Wish Foundation

  6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. $5.00 Donation

  Calling all ice cream lovers! We're hosting an old-fashioned Ice Cream Social to benefit Make-a-Wish Foundation! In celebration of National Ice Cream Month, make your own sundae for just $5.00 and all of the proceeds benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation!

  Come on down and learn more about what Make-a-Wish Foundation does to give hope, strength and joy to children with life-threatening medical conditions.

  Our friends from WBRU will be on site providing music and prizes!

  Blood Drive for the Rhode Island Blood Center

  2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Free

  Today we're hosting the Rhode Island Blood Center for a Blood Drive. They will be in our parking lot with their mobile van. To make an appointment online, go to www.ribc.org or call 800-283-8385.

  For every blood donation today, receive a coupon for a free bagged lunch from Whole Foods Market.

  Ice Cream Social to Benefit Providence Children's Museum

  6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. $5.00 Donation

  Calling all ice cream lovers! We're hosting an old-fashioned Ice Cream Social to benefit Providence Children's Museum.

  In celebration of National Ice Cream Month, make your own sundae for just $5.00 and receive a 2-for-1 Museum admission pass!  All proceeds benefit Providence Children's Museum.

  Come on down and learn more about what Providence Children's Museum has going on this summer.

  Come and down and meet the folks from WaterFire Providence and get ready for the next WaterFire scheduled on Saturday, July 25th!
