  West Hartford's Cookin'

  6:00 pm to 8:30 pm | Details

  Whole Foods Market, West Hartford Center and Bishop's Corner, sponsor this annual event to raise funds for the Foundation for West Hartford Public Schools.  "Celebrity chefs" such as Mayor Scott Slifka, State Senator Jonathan Harris and dozens of other local civic, business and education leaders, prepare their favorite dish and serve them to approximately 300 guests.  The non-profit Foundation for West Hartford Public Schools funds innovative programs from pre-k through high school to enhance the excellence of West Hartford's public schools.  This is a great way to eat for education, taste for technology, gobble for grants, and feast for the Foundation!

  Do you like supporting local businesses, tasting local food, & trying locally-made products?  If the answer is yes or if you want to see what it's all about, stop by the West Hartford Center store on Tuesday, March 23^rd to meet many local vendors and taste the great flavors and foods that are a part of the New England area.

  5% day to benifit Knox Park Foundation

  Details

  This is a great day to shop because 5% of all sales will be donated to the Knox Park Foundation.  The Knox Park Foundation is dedicated to maintaining the green spaces of Hartford. 

  By shopping on this day, you are directly contributing to the Foundation's goal of planting trees to reduce the carbon in our atmosphere. Feel good about where you shop!
