    Enjoy handcrafted lagers from Schmaltz Brewing Company along with fresh hot dogs on our patio. We'll have their year-round attractions and seasonal curiosities and an actual sword swallower.  Proceeds from the tasting event benefit Jewish Family Services.

    Cascade Burger Challenge

    Whole Foods Market Westlake steps up the competition for this year's Audacious Burger Challenge by adding a residential component.  The Cascade Burger Challenge is a preliminary competition open to the residents of the Cascade neighborhood with the winner going on to compete in the Audacious Burger Challenge held at the South Lake Union Block Party on 7 August 2009.  The Cascade competitor will go up against our last year's winner, Skillet Street Food, as well as entries from Sea Star, Blue Moon Burger and Whole Foods Market.  For complete rules or to enter the competition, please contact Milton Artis at milton.artis@wholefoods.com.

    Seattle Humane Society's Max Mobile

    Our friends from the Seattle Humane Society return with their bright yellow, custom mobile adoption and education center, Max Mobile.   Parked in front of the store, "Max" will offer on-the-spot pet adoptions.  Come check out the dogs, cats, and even rabbits that they have to offer.
