Fall weather brings its own special skin-care challenges. As the days grow cooler, we duck in and out of doors — flitting between brisk winds and roaring fireplaces, chilly rains and the hum of indoor heaters. All of this back-and-forth can leave your skin looking parched — but never fear, facial mist is here! This skin care superhero delivers dewy, glowing skin at a moment’s notice. It’s the perfect purse-size companion for fall parties and holiday travel.

The recipe below comes from our friends at Aura Cacia, the essential oil experts. It features organic rosehip oil — which is packed with vitamin A and essential fatty acids — as well as lavender and rose absolute essential oils.  Use it before your moisturizer to help lock in moisture or over makeup for a fresh-faced look.

You will need:

1 4-ounce spray bottle

1 teaspoon Aura Cacia Organic Restoring Rosehip Oil

20 drops Aura Cacia Lavender Essential Oil

4 drops Aura Cacia Rose Absolute Essential Oil

3½ ounces water

Directions

Combine ingredients in the 4-ounce spray bottle and shake vigorously. Lightly mist face and neck. Voilà!

(It’s so simple, you may want to make a few extras to give as homemade gifts.)
