Yogurt is such a great food! For breakfast with blueberries and a bit of granola or maybe a fresh fruit smoothie. For a lunch blended into salad dressing. For a snack I blend it with onion soup mix for a delicious veggie dip. But my favorite -- to grill chicken breasts after marinating them in yogurt with garlic and lime juice.

Greek Yogurt is best plain, but if I want to spice it up a bit, I use fresh or frozen berries, a bit of whipped cream atop with ground almonds. Healthy dessert that is satisfying

My favorite way to use Greek yogurt is in fruit smoothies for breakfast or a snack. My kids ask for them about three times a week. I use about a half cup Greek yogurt, 1 banana, some organic berries of our choice, a little almond milk, a teaspoon or two of sugar and a couple drops of vanilla extract. blend it together and we have a filling and healthy drink. And who could forget Greek yogurt and granola. So many ways!

I take some frozen raspberries and blueberries out of my freezer in the evening before going to bed, put them in a bowl and let them thaw overnight in my refrigerator. In the morning, I add a carton of vanilla or raspberry Greek Yogurt to the bowl of berries, sprinkle granola on top and enjoy for breakfast!

One of my personal favorite ways to eat Greek yogurt is for breakfast with fresh seasonal fruit, granola, and some walnuts on top. A new family favorite though is Greek yogurt as the base for a sneaky spinach dip that also has other shredded veggies like cucumber and zucchini. Even my husband will eat it. I don't think he quite realizes just how healthy the dip is.

Greek yogurt with Avocado makes a fab healthier guacamole! I just add a pinch of salt, garlic and lemon juice. Yum! Also I love starting my days off with greek yogurt, bananas, frozen berries and a bit of granola or cereal. I am just in crazy love with greek yogurt, that's it.

Mary Bishop says …

Plain for me, maybe some fresh fruit.

Cathy S. says …

Depending on the flavor of the yogurt, I generally just eat it with nothing else on it. It is so good! But sometimes I add a gluten-free cereal on top and some local honey.
