Unlike Thanksgiving when turkeys anchor meals across the country, now 'tis the season for variety. Christmas dinner's main course can be influenced by family origins, geography or simply the cook's preferences; choices abound! Popular options range from ham and beef to lamb and goose. Some families who didn't get enough turkey at Thanksgiving make another at Christmas. Others yet opt to be meat-free and showcase seafood or vegetables dishes. We've pulled 12 of our favorite Christmas main course recipes to help you narrow down your options. Or perhaps to widen your scope! Get inspired by all our Christmas main course recipes including game birds on our holidays website. What will be at the center of your table this Christmas?

Lasagna preceded by an antipasti plate and accompanied by warm garlic bread. I'm a little 'tired' of the whole 'roast' thing - I'm a carnivore - but lamb, beef, ham, turkey, chicken just wasn't doing it for me this year!
