I have been purchasing all natural skincare/bodycare at Whole Foods, but as of yet have not switched over to cosmetics. This has been a great learning experience for me.

I agree with another poster that I have very sensitive skin so I too prefer natural products. So many products will make me break out and it drives me nuts.

http://www.faboverforty.com I have given up on makeup for the most part. After applying the makeup, I develop a slight headache and if not removed, a migraine will hit me.

Oops - forgot to put Mommy Mandy in my comment. Pls. delete my last one - I will repost here I cannot believe we are exposed to 136 chemicals a day in our normal bath and beauty products! I have a vitamin d deviciency also so it is weird to hear that these chemicals interfere with vitamin d absorbsion

I've never quite understood the benefits of natural/organic ingredients in cosmetics. This certainly helps me understand what to avoid in body care products!

The more natural of ingredients the better. I have sensitive skin and the least little thing will cause me to break out. Very informative podcast, thanks!

I have definitely noticed a difference in the sensitivity of my skin, since switching to mineral makeups. I don't get as many rashes/irritations (in fact, I cannot remember the last time!) and I don't break out like I used to. Thanks for the podcast. Keep up the good work and the good products!

I would love to win this. :) It only makes sense that using natural cosmetics would be better for your skin then all the processed crap we're so used too.

I've always liked using a simple petroleum product to protect my lips during the winter but never stopped to think it was a non-renewable resource! This podcast was pretty short but filled with nuggets. Thanks for sharing.

Whoa. This is eye-opening information, to say the least. We can all learn from this interesting podcast. I came here via fab over forty, and expected a Whole Foods commercial. But this is shortly informative and illuminating. We need a Whole Foods here in London Ontario, now! Good luck all.

Different women, different skin types. The Pod Cast did touch on areas that I was already informed about, but highlighted other areas I've never considered. Sometimes you just have to hear it from someone else for it to sink in. Great pod cast! I hope more will follow! ;o)
