  • Going out to eat costs both time and money. Whether you’re dining alone or with your family, it takes time to get to the restaurant, wait to be seated, order, wait for your meal to be served, eat and then drive home. In less time than it takes you to eat out, you can prepare a home-cooked meal.
  • It’s no secret that it costs more to dine out than to cook at home. How much more? I heard Mr. Mackey speak over the summer about how WFM was going to be reaching out to engage customers in a healthy lifestyle and about how "whole paycheck" was nonsense. This is GREAT, I'm trying these recipes, I'm taking the time to make healthy stuff from scratch. I belive that Mr. Mackey's vision is not some cynical business related plan, but a genuine wish to help transform those that are willing to put forth the effort to transform themselves. I appreciate the support, thank you John & WFM people.

It's amazing how much people could save if they could just say "No!" to eating out or ordering in. To pay $5 for a side of rice (in NYC, at least!) when, at home, it's 9¢! That really puts things into perspective!
