Dried seasoned seaweed (laver). My 6 year old loves it too, and brings it for her school snack. Tastier and healthier than chips!

Currently, my fav snack is sliced lemon cukes and tomatoes from my grandpas garden and dried, roasted seaweed on the side for some saltiness.

My snack preferences totally depend on the season - both in terms of what is fresh and available and whether I want something hot to warm up or cold to cool down. In summer I like tangy yogurt or veggies dipped in hummus or guacamole or cottage cheese sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds and some local fresh fruit. In winter I actually love having vegetable soup as a snack or sometimes just a hot mug of vanilla almond milk.

I have two go to's - a granny smith apple cut up with raw honey for a sweet craving OR a few thick slices of tomato w/fresh basil and a little chunk of mozzarella w/balsamic vin for a savory craving; I seriously keep balsamic & a basil plant on my desk at work!

Hummus and Taboullie pinwheels on lavash. Quick filing and energy boost. Although I don't think they make it to my sons snack time most days.
