From earlier comments: "The American Dental Association (ADA) states “Unless advised to do so by a dentist or other health professional, parents should not use fluoride toothpaste for children less than two years of age.” Considering this warning I just don't think that fluoride can be beneficial for kids.

Great ideas here! This would good information to put out during Earth Day as well.

Very hip. I like seeing Lynda Fassa live and in the flesh, her book was a bedside fav during our first years.

this is AWESOME!! I LOVE the book green babies sage moms!!! yay for this. I'm a holistic health counselor, meaning - a food and lifestyle expert and yes, this is amazing stuff. we need more of this EVERYWHERE!! I've been using natural products - and one day i had to use a conventional shampoo and the fragrance was SO STRONG - so like the comment you said about having to use conventional toothpaste that one time the flavor was REALLY STRONG! I AGREE!!! It's not good to be breathing in or tasting those STRONG fragrances and flavors. KUDOS to YOU!!

Weleda is the best product I have found for babies and kids! I have been having trouble finding their Diaper cream at your stores, do you no longer carry it? It is like gold when a rash appears.

Fran says …

Great to see you speaking to these topics. Gentle Skincare is so important for our little ones.

Mike says …

She is right, Weleda is a tremendous product, it clears skin and diaper rashes overnight.

Margie says …

Do you know if fluoride is considered good or bad for kids? I always wonder about this when they use traditional toothpaste.

Ann says …

It is amazing to me how kids little systems respond so much to anything we put in or on them. Whether it is sugar, or homeopathic medicine, sun cream or tooth paste, everything has a huge affect, so it is truly important to consider which products they are exposed to.

Michelle says …

Love the book, it is fun to see the author in person.

Are there plans for a 365 brand childrens hair care line? I really appreciate the value of going natural with kids care, but the price is difficult for me to swallow.

Nice video, although it seems a bit contrived when the guest points out your mineral makeup line as her favorite. Don't get me wrong this is a great series and I have been following for awhile now.

lynda says …

Hi Rory: I know it seems goofy or suspect, but I really do love Mineral Fusion and honestly would never suggest anything I don't personally believe in and use. Also Mara didn't even ask me the brands I was going to talk about--we just walked and talked. But I appreciate you wondering, it gives me the opportunity to explain, because maybe other folks wondered, too.
