I can't eat eggs so for breakfast I love toast with mashed avocado, summer tomatoes, and bacon.

let me just start by saying I'm vegan. But I love my husband dearly and he loves a good dose of what we call vitamin "P" (pork). With WF bacon, I can give him the very best bacon and the doggie loves licking the bacon fat out of the pan too! (the bacon dish gets a lot cleaner in the wishy if you let the puppy pre-treat it).

My favorite bacon dish is a BLT with fried green tomatoes instead of fresh ones. I first discovered this at my local Whole Foods store and have been hooked since. It is soooo yummy!!!

I love bacon but hate the use of gestation and farrow crates. I'm always looking for humanely raised pork and beef. Thanks to the Whole Foods 265 brand I don't have to pass up bacon.

I've eaten chocolate covered bacon, bacon sundaes, bacon cupcakes, bacon vodka- but I think its time people stop trying to over think the goodness of bacon. Its fine on its own people. Stop trying to make it a fancy gourmet food!

We are on a low carb diet, which restricts a lot of foods, but we must have our bacon.

Our family favorite is fresh greens beans with red onions and bacon. After you fry the bacon, chop it up and put to the side. Saute chopped red onion in the pan with a bit of the bacon fat. Toss in the green beans and put the lid in and cook until tender crisp.. Return the chopped bacon to the pan and toss with a few shakes of cider vinegar. My husband and son could eat this for dinner by itself. Same with home made creamed corn. Add some chopped bacon, green onions, a little cream and a dash of red pepper. Fantastic. Me too on the facebook comment.

Bacon is best on Sunday morning with whole wheat toast and an egg white omelet on the side :) * I also throw some crumbled bacon in my homemade mac n cheese with peas, the kids love it and it gives it a great smoky flavor!

My favorite part to a low carb high fat diet is BACON. I don't think there is a dish that doesn't need a bit of bacon in it. Even eggs taste yummier if you cook them in a bit of bacon drippings (thanks, Mom, for that tip). I like to eat bacon a bit crispy and definitely eat it with my fingers!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2T_obaO46Bo This youtube Bacon is Good for me clip tells it all. It is a show on t.v. where a boy loves bacon and Wife Swap, the show, sends in a lady to flip eating habits. Truly priceless. :)

BACON CANDY! This simple recipe goes amazingly well with a special Sunday pancake breakfast. 10oz bacon, 1/3c dark brown sugar. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line a large cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Place bacon slices on pan, leaving about .25" in between each. Cook for 10 minutes, flip bacon. Cook for 10 more minutes or until almost crisp and then sprinkle each slice liberally with dark brown sugar. Cook for 5-10 minutes more until brown sugar is fully melted. Allow to cool for 5 minutes. YUM!!

I love bacon, pure and simple. A sacrilegious bagel? Toasted bagle w/a little butter, cream cheese and fresh bacon. Delish. Also a great partner in my baked beans with molasses and onions or as a base flavor for my Branford CT. clam chowder with fresh shucked clams, potatoes, celery, onions and a diced garden tomatoe.

BALT's taste great in the summer! Bacon, avocado, lettuce, and tomato on freshly toasted sourdough bread! Love the combo of tart, salty, crunchy, and creamy in this sandwich! Add an egg, and it becomes breakfast...or breakfast for dinner!

Let me share a great, easy recipe. In custard bowls, drop 1 egg; wrap a half slice of bacon that has been cooked to remove grease, add 1 tsp butter a dash of salt and pepper. Place on a cookie sheet in the oven until egg is cooked as desired! As a tip, I usually precook my bacon on a jelly roll pan in the oven.
