I like your other readers applaud you addressing mature skin. This really isn't touched upon in any other web coverage I have come across!

CoQ10 has had a terrific impact on my "crows feet". I actually use the Aubrey Organics CoQ10 mentioned in this video, and find it cost effective and not as oily as others I have tried.

I personally wouldn't take the time to apply as many steps as are shown in this video. I do think the advice of using tinted moisturizer is great guidance for "mature" skin.

Hi Val, I agree that there are a lot of steps in the makeover process but we wanted to show people the full effect and let them utilize the steps that best fit their lifestyle and needs. For me I really like the tinted moisturizer too and tend to use that everyday but when I go out I use more of the entire face approach.

Thanks for the thoughtful response Mara! I agree when/if I get a night out, I step it up a bit as well :)

Wow things have come a long way from the days my mom used Nivea! Is coconut butter beneficial as a skin conditioner?

I appreciate the advice for using tinted moisturizer as a base for mature skin! It helps even out the look of my face and I feel like a good moisturizer is helping to protect my skin at the same time.

I read that Whole Foods created a body care standard which is designed to help ensure that products meet an organic quality standard! I really enjoy being able to shop for both organic foods and supplements under one roof!

@Sarah Of course—coconut butter (as it usually appears on personal care labels) is a wonderful skin conditioner. You can find coconut oil and coconut butter as an ingredient in personal care products like Alaffia or Pangea body lotions. Or look for stand-alone coconut oil or coconut butter in Whole Body or in Grocery.

CoQ10 is a favorite of mine as well. I udnerstand the body naturally produces this, but with age and time we produce less and a topical supplement really helps offset this change!

Good tips here for mature skin, treatments and daily makeup. I think your stores carry a wonderful line of natural hair coloration products as well!

I agree with one of your other comments. We do vote with our dollars, or decisions for which products and services we choose to support. I am a great fan of WF for their dedication to small local companies and organic products, as well as the creation of the whole body standard.

Glad to see you giving a video tutorial for older skin. At the checkout isles we always see young 20 somethings gracing the covers of magazines.

All of these are very good suggestions for mature skin! CoQ10 is a very practical product to help reinvigorate the skin around the eyes.

I really appreciate this video. I have often wondered the process for using the different products I see on shelves. Typically I just default to eye liner, so I'm excited to explore the use of tinted base!

Whole Foods carries some terrific natural skin care products at most of their stores. I have started getting some products I had not tried before. A very cost affective, but not quite as good as some of the other lines, is the 365 brand lotion, shampoo, and conditioner.

I really enjoy this series. Your stores are great champions of organic products, lifestyles, and companies. It helps to see some of the products outside of foods explained and applied. I really appreciate your efforts.

I love the comments about tinted moisturizer vs. powder for mature skin :) It is so true that powder and wrinkles are not the best of friends.

CoQ10 is great topically but also very good for your heart and organs when taken as a supplement.
