I had no idea whole foods carried makeup. I am interested more natural looking makeup that's better for my older skin. I live in CO and the climate here is much drier. I will definitely be trying it out.

Thanks for the video. I will be looking at this make up seriously.

The video was very informative. I like the light appearance a user gets from the foundation, as well as the SPF benefits. I'll check out the products at my local Whole Foods Market soon.

2 things: 1. Applying makeup to a client without wearing gloves...big no-no. You always use gloves! And 2., I am eager to try this makeup now!!

I am a big fan of mineral based makeup and I am so glad to see it finally being mass marketed and available for everyone. I have been using mineral based makeup for about 3 months. I have 2 teenaged daugthers and I would like to get them using it, too.

Interesting product, definately would like to try it- sounds amazing!!

I love the natural proucts. Skin should only have natures products applied to it to keep it the healthiest and best looking it can be.

Susanne ODonnell says …

I love mineral makeup - but good brushes are a factor. It doesn't apply well with average makeup brushes.

Just wandered over from a post at Makeup Loves Me (http://www.makeuplovesme.com) to learn more about this makeup. It sounds great; I'll definitely check it out next time I get over to Whole Foods. By the way ... any news on when is the Brooklyn store scheduled to open?

Good info, thanks. Having combination skin, I have trouble finding the right make-up and skincare combination. The SPF protection is something I always look for - so I'm anxious to give this a try.

hi jen gaum! i bought the loose powder foundation yesterday + it has a spongey cover. i think it's an applicator that the powder is supposed to go through. there aren't directions on the package. can you explain this + how i get started with it? (the tester has an easier sprinkle through opening that's easy to use with the kabuki brush. i don't want to open the container to use the powder + spill it.)

Audrey says …

I haven't tried mineral make-up so this was very informative.

Tina says …

Love the smooth application. Would love to try this new product!

Carol Ezovski says …

This was a very informative video. I was not really familiar with mineral makeups, so I learned a lot. It was nice to learn they had UVB protection, as they said SPF with color! I'd love to try these products!

Thanks, Whole Foods and Whole Body. This natural mineral makeup looks as delicious as the good foods I so enjoy from your store here in Baton Rouge!

I love mineral make-up. People think you are not wearing make up at all. And it's great for your skin.

I am coming to New York on vacation, Whole Foods is on my list for a stop. I have to try the mineral makeup. Is your sister store (Wild Oats) going to be carrying it also? I shop there on a regular basis and I would love to be able to get this makeup in town. Thx again for the info! Lisa L

Thanks!

Better for me than going au naturel?Certainly so with an SPF of 18. That is really nice. I liked the look and that they are innovating constantly. I have to check this stuff out! Thanks!

Dawn Kasper says …

The fact that mineral makeup benefits the skin appeals to me. I also like that it looks very natural and your own skin tone shows through the translucent minerals. In the video I was bothered by the white head on the model's mouth - the close up was repulsive.

Gaye McGill says …

Excellent presentation for some excellent products. All natural, good for your skin, and a lovely natural look. Very nice!

Toni Cronin says …

I love mineral makeup - I'd love to try this!

Connie Tucker says …

Loved the video as it explained quite a bit and showed the application as well. I have been wanting to try mineral makeup for sometime, but worry that it will feel dry on my skin.

Natural cosmetics that are good for me and my skin. This is a product I want. Also love the way the skin looks after applying. Please have more like this as it shows how to apply.

very nice makeup, informative video

Tracy Iglesias says …

I have never tried mineral makeup. I have acne prone skin and always feared that mineral makeup wouldn't provide enough coverage to be worth the investment. But this appears to apply evenly and provides great coverage.

I've got a new baby and with all the sleepless nights, I am so in need of something to make me feel younger and pretty. I'm totally into the eye trio. I hope you randomly select me!!!

I heard about this podcast on http://modmom.blogspot.com/ and enjoyed watching the tips! Thanks!

Hello! This is for the customer that asked about applying the loose powder. You first want to unscrew the top piece from the bottom piece. You will see a clear plastic top. I recommend punching a few holes with a pin so the product will sprinkle out a bit. I then pour a small amount of the product into the inside of the cap. Use your sponge to apply to face or for more sheer coverage you may want to purchase the flawless or blender brush. apply going downwards toward your jaw line. Please let me know if this helps! Don't forget to mist your skin with the hydration mist.before and after. i hope this helps!

Pauline Phillips says …

Great video. I already was using the powder foundation but was not using the mist to start and set the makeup. Glad i viewed the video.
