I am just recovering from a horrific chemical hair coloring. They first bleached my hair so the "color would take" then applied the color, what a smell. Needless to say, my hair felt like steel wool for weeks. I'm excited to go this route next time around, thanks for the suggestions.

Hi Diane, I have to say that talking with cucumbers on my face was quite interesting. I just wanted to report that I have been using a Shampoo form the John Masters line with honey and hibiscus in it and my hair has really been doing well. Thanks for watching the podcast! Part two will be posted next week, John gives us tips on styling products.

I love how he gives suggestions for what oils and natural ingredients work on which hair types. I'm definitely intrigued! And wow, is it ever hard to find a decent natural hair coloring product. Think I'll try this next and see how it does. But it looks like it'd be more fun to go into their NY salon and get the whole treatment! (I bet that reporter never did an interview with cucumbers on her eyes before!)

Great podcast! I learned various oils would be good for my curly hair - I would probably opt for a fragrant oil.

Well, I would have to say lavender is just about one of the most amazing smells in the world! But for my particular hair type, soy proteins and anything natural for color treated hair.
