My kids are doing much better in school now that we are taking the time to have breakfast together in the morning. So many kids eat on the run, or not at all and fade mid morning.

I heard about this from My Dallas Mommy. We eat terribly at our house and I wonder why I am always tired! I know now that I really need to be cooking and eating better for our mental health. It would be great to be able to boost everyone's mood around the house. Thanks!

I heard about this on www.gograhamgo.com. It was very interesting to hear about healthy foods and healthy eating patterns. I learned that healthy fats are omega 3's and omega 6's....which are in fish and flax seeds.

I heard about this podcast from the Go Graham Go Blog. Glad to hear about the 5HTP. My hubby started taking it last month and liked the results, my daughter and I are going to start taking it also.

Thanks to Go Graham Go for sending me here! This was a great podcast for me to hear. I got a whole lot of great information about the types of foods that affect my mood. That is especially important during this season where the weather outside is getting cooler and dreary. It's good to have tips on what foods could help boost my mood.

I loved this because it was on point and concise. Very helpful info. For a healthy mood I have to remember to keep in my basics: get plenty of sleep eat breakfast eat healthy and avoid junk avoid negative or toxic people take the time to give thanks and be grateful and if in a crisis, a long, relaxing walk always cheers me up. I have also found B 1 to be a quick mood soother.

I have a dear friend and neighbor. We always take hot soup to the other if one of us gets a cold, or the flu. A simple tradition which I believe plays a big big part in my healing.

We make it a point to have dinner and breakfast together as a family. We discuss the upcoming day in the morning, then reflect upon the day in the evening. It is a nice way to mix food and family together!

Starting the day with great food is very important, but remembering to take time to eat throughout the day keeps one going.

Good to think about food for mood balance. All to often however, we overlook, or forget about the value of hydration in maintaining good overall health.

I see the value in all of us, young and old alike, starting and sustaining our days with healthy foods. To often we wonder what the reason is for a lack of energy and mood drops, and it is as simple as running on empty.

Cooking, the process, is healing to me. I love having great food, and cooing with friends and family, this gives me a sense of peace and happiness which in turn helps with overall health.

We do a nice tradition in on our block. There are 4 families and we take turns twice a month- getting together at each others houses. The best part, the kids all help cook, which is both fun and funny... so the food isn't always the greatest, but the bonding is brilliant!
