I like the idea of using elderberry to support the immune system. How do I know how much to take for me and how much to give to my child? He's 2 and approximately 35 pounds. Thanks for the good ideas on how to stay healthy.

I never thought vitamin A was better than C for your immune but it makes sense! I always pump myself full of both during this time of year. Also shitake mushrooms???? Thats great news because I love them and always replace regular mushrooms with them every chance I get! Thanks for all the great info!!! Looking forward to listening to more podcasts

This was another interesting podcast. I have known many people to get benefits from a neti pot though I have not tried one. I may be thinking about it this year. Thanks!

Although I know a lot about nutrition and homeopathic therapies, I nonetheless found Malia Curran's podcast very informative, and there was new information and ideas of which I was not aware. Thanks for the heads up!

Thank you for all your comments! We are happy to hear that we've shared some new and helpful information on staying healthy this season. Regarding dosages, products differ. Therefore, always follow directions that are specific to each product. Elderberry syrup works for all ages because it tastes good. Also, look for specific pediatric products for the little ones.

I got this pod cast from Mod Mom. This podcast was soooo informative! I love to cook and it was great to hear about the different foods that I could feed my family to support their immune system. I'll have to break out the ginger! I had also heard about the netty pots from Dr. Oz on Oprah. Sounds very helpful! I'll have to try it out!
