Comparable prices would definitely help us switch over to greener products. Also knowing the difference in the chemical make-up!

Thank you for offering this great prize. I have tried to be "green" since the 70s. I use eco-friendly cleaners and have shared with family and friends reasons and ways to take care of our planet, our home.

It's time for my family to take the plunge! Our kids already think that we have the "Nazi" household where food is concerned, now we need to come full circle by living in a chemical free breathing zone! They may complain, but the proof is in the pudding--our kids never get sick (I attribute this to the way we eat) and now I hope that they won't develop allergies either, as a result of incorporating green cleaning products in our home. Thanks!

The time is right to change our habits.

Kyla says …

My biggest concern, after making sure a product is "green," is to make sure that it is safe to use around my dog. She is part of the family and it is important to me that she is safe and that is more important than having my house clean.

Sheila B says …

I'm trying to use natural or "green products" however, I would love to see more everyday products compared (traditional nationally known brand products with the "green" products) in print ads or even "tagged" in stores as .... compared to (blank) product, this Green Product is just as Effective yet, it's so much better for you, your family, and the environment!

Mellie says …

I already made the switch with most products, but I need find a greener way to clean my oven!

I love using green cleaners. I appreciate no chemicals in my cleaning products and I will pay more to support those businesses that use organic, plant-based, renewable products!

Knowing that greener products are pro-health and pro-environment definitely is the incentive that spurs me to buy green cleaning products. I sincerely believe that what we put out into the environment will eventually affect all our future, both the good and the bad. I want to have a healthy home on Earth!

We just started the Feingold diet and I am so excited to switch to greener products and organic foods. I am planning to throw EVERYTHING out and start new!

I have been inspired going on six years. I have doing my best to stay green. I am a single mom and my closest whole foods is an hour and forty five minutes away so being able to afford the drive each time makes it very difficult. Trying to teach my children to go green and being able to afford it and don't have any products to purchase down here us a struggle. Getting away from all those chemicals has made a healthier lifestyle. I clean with any natural product i can find and afford.

Samantha says …

I love it when the eco-friendly cleaners work as well or better than conventional!

JW says …

I would switch to green if I won the prize and liked the pruducts.

Maureen says …

I try to use green cleaning products. One of my favorite cleaning products is boiling water. I use cast iron skillets instead of teflon pans. Food will occasionally get stuck to the bottom of a pan. To remove it, I just put some water in the pan and boil it for a couple of minutes. I remove the pan and the stuck on food just wipes off under running water.

Anne says …

I have to believe the company's are really committed to protecting the environment, not just using it as a market gimmick.

We need a toxic free cleaning makeover. We are slowly transitioning to greener cleaners but have a tight budget.

JC says …

The risks of exposure to the chemicals by children, and they could be clean as well as the conventional.

Debbie Morley says …

I switched to green products a few years ago when I started noticing that I couldn't breathe when cleaning the bathroom. It turns out I have 'Reactive Airway Disease' and react to chemicals, fumes, etc., in my environment. Cleaning with green products allows me to breath safely in my home, and I'm really pleased with the natural/clean smell. I just returned from visiting a relative and was amazed at how much 'junk' they had for cleaning with all kinds of perfumes and chemicals. They felt bad when I had to use an inhaler, but you know, I felt worse for them. They said they're going to be changing their cleaners now. I sure hope so!

I think it is safer for my family, animals and it helps the earth

We're moving into a new house and want to have a clean and healthy start without adding chemicals to the environment. We're already looking forward to growing food in our garden and teaching our son about how to live a sustainable life.

Beth Elder says …

I'd like a review like consumer reports - to prove their power.

Green is best, but not always affordable. Would really enjoy using this prize!

Daphne says …

Price is always an issue. I look for products that work and work well.

Brianna Rosenau says …

Cleaning is always such a hassle because I am very sensitive to the harsh chemicals, I love the idea of hypoallergenic products and natural products in general. no more headache, sore throat, and lightheadedness for me!

Carrie Key Rodebaugh says …

I have changed the way that I eat, having become a raw food vegan and I think that it's high time that I get OTHER chemicals out of my life! I would be so blessed if I were one of the five lucky winners of this contest!

Kristy Campbell says …

My husband and I have been shifting to green cleaning over the last couple years, but now that we have a daughter (born last Nov) we're even more committed to this as we want to live in an environment free of harsh chemicals! We currently do most cleaning with vinegar but would love to try some other truly green cleaning products! Thanks for the giveaway :)

Laura says …

I have multiple chemical sensitivities, and I make a lot of my own cleaners. Yet, it is so nice to be able to buy a green cleaner when I am unable to make what I need efficiently and effectively. I only use green cleaners that really work, and I am always excited to see more options come on the market. Winning a basket of green cleaners would be excuse to try out some more products and give my home made cleaners a break. Who knows? I might discover a favorite. Thank you. :)

Cheryl says …

I just need that gentle push I think. I am frugal and have a stockpile of cleaning agents, all bought on sale of course! :) I would love to sample green products to see the results before spending a lot of money!

Charles says …

a snap of the wrist in fulfilling our standards in conscious consuming

Lyn says …

I have been switching over slowly from conventional cleaners to environmentally-friendlier alternatives. I also use vinegar, baking soda, lemon juice and salt regularly as cleaning products, and always have, since my grandmother taught me to so as a small child. Although there aren't that many regular products left to switch, I'd love the assistance of a free basket of goodies! I think it's important to be a good steward with the bit of the planet I'm living on.

Crystal Scott says …

With the hopes of becoming a potential mom this year I want to not only start leading by example for the generation to come but I want to provide a safe and healthy home as well.

Stacey K says …

I think green cleaning is the way to go - there always seems to be some new product for us to try - why not give the green ones a whirl?

I do what I can to keep our home safe and clean because we have a beautiful 3 year old daughter that depends on us to insure she is safe and has the opportunity for a bright and wonderful future! She is the reason my awareness has been raised when it comes to what's in our home and environment!! :)

Dori says …

I have stopped drinking bottled water and bought Bpa cups and carry that around instead. I am very allergic to chemicals that i used to clean with. I love that they have products that are environmentally safe and are also better for people. People don;t realize the harm there doing to themselves with all these chemicals.

Ruth says …

I had fantasies years ago about growing all the loofahs my family and friends would need, totally replacing the stream of cleaning implements that flows through our home. Twist makes so many cool tools; and they are a pleasure to handle as well!

Sara says …

I'm trying to live a greener lifestyle. I grow my own vegetables and freeze them so I can eat 'local' year round! I've switched most of my personal products to Eco friendly and I'm in the process of researching greener cleaning solutions. This gift basket would be a perfect way to introduce more green cleaners into my home!

Joanne Cheek says …

I would give my home a greener clean because they clean great & don't give off toxic fumes! Green cleaning does not harm our environment home & Mother Earth! I live in rural area & don't have "close" access to great green products, but I do & have purchased several! I also use baking soda, vinegar, essential oils, etc to clean, but would really be great & cool to receive a gift basket of green cleaning products!! Keep up the great work.

The Willing Cook says …

I've wanted to try these safer products, but can't bring myself to waste the current ones that I have or shell out the money on a strict budget. I would love to win this sampling!

I am inspired today and everyday to have a greener kitchen and life because of my brave daughter Liz. She became a vegetarian in a carnivore household! She began her quest for a kinder household in around 3rd grade if you ask her. She sticks to her values no matter what her friends, boyfriends etc may say or do. She is now 22 and still making us better. We all try to think before we buy, clean and eat. She has made all of us (including her extended family) more aware of our daily habits. SHe truly is an inspiration for all of us!

Evelyn says …

My home is where my family and I spend the best times so why not keep it clean and green.
