Morning: 5 shots espresso over ice Afternoon: Jarlsberg lite cheese sandwich with lettuce, tomato, mustard, barbecue chips, water, watermelon Evening: peach blender drinks, made with delicious WFM organic peaches. Leftover blender drinks (if there are any)go in the freezer to be consumed after lunch on the beach.

For our sunset beach picnics we try to keep it simple-food that is easy to eat while gazing at an amazing Maui sunset: Grapes, Cheese, a good baguette, some cold roasted chicken, sliced cucumber, pea pods, cherry tomatoes, hummus and whole wheat crackers or chips, strawberries, champagne, beer and wine! Oh, and water and a few doggie treats for the pup!

My favorite summer snack is fresh chopped basil, tomato slices, over fresh mozzarella slice on a bread round just splashed with some Texas basil infused olive oil. Yummy

We like to take water, juicy fruits, good bars (like Lara bars) nuts and popcorn and occasionally something like cheese & crackers or chips & dip sort of fare. This basket looks great!

We ( my husband, myself and our 3 children) have decided to rent an RV and drive it from Phoenix to Jackson Hole, WY and the to Yellowstone. It's a trip we will remember forever. I can't help but think of the Robin Williams RV movie. Lol

Great timing. My family and I are gearing up for our 9th Annual 4th of July bash at the beach! We have it all covered! Chicken, burgers, crab, but for snack we take a lot of fresh fruit and homebaked breads. And indulge in the S'mores of course...with Peanutbutter cups.

I like taking fresh fruits and veggies with sandwiches if we're making a day of it. Granola bars are a must whenever I go out for a few hours or longer because I snack all day. I always make sure I have my water bottle full so I don't get too thirsty out in the sun.

The beach is my place. Nothing better than the sand in between your toes ans the ocean calling you to relax! i love laying on the warm sand and having a healthy lunch (we usually do veggie sandwiches on ezikiel bread) with lots of sides refreshing coleslaw, strawberrys and blueberrys, and mountain trail mix. Cut up watermelon and cataloupe are summer beach faves! And if we've planned ahead of time, we'll fill water bottles half-way and pop them in the freezer, then top them off in the morning. They keep cold as the ice melts, and help keep anything else in the cooler cold as well.

We are heading to the beach in Mexico next week and we always take chips and homemade salsa, salty snacks and lots of fruits with some Coronas and lime. :) Those under 21 love to have "mock" pina coladas. :) We also take coconut water so no one gets dehydrated! :(

When going to the pool, lake or the beach I always pack fresh fruits and lots of them. Cantaloupe cut up. Peaches and plums. Strawberries too. That is how my mom packed for my brother & I and that is what I now do for my 2 kids. And because it is so good and my kids love the flavor, we always have multi-grain pita chips and hummus. Mmmmm.
