My favorite beach snacks are fresh fruit to stay hydrated, like watermelon, grapes, oranges, and strawberries. I like a refreshing homemade strawberry lemonade. Also almonds, cheese and crackers, hummus, maybe some jerky too! I can hear the waves calling me in!

Fruits & Veggies are always a staple as well as water. Beyond that it depends on what sounds good. Some flax or bagel chips, Annies bunny graham crackers for the car ride & milk boxes for the kids, string cheese and sandwiches or wraps. Some kind of bar or trail mix is great too!

The beach is where we want to stay and any opportunity to remind ourselves of that is welcome. Send me the basket!

Cut up watermelon is a must have for the beach, lots of water, and something crunchy. If we are going for the day I like to pack sandwiches: PB&J for me and sunflower seed butter and jam for my kids who are allergic to nuts.

I love going to the beach with fresh strawberries, some iced tea in my tumbler, and salted almonds. This makes the perfect beach day snack and a great bite to eat while walking down the shoreline. :)

Picnic foods - homemade coleslaw from your super fresh organic cabbage, homemade fried chicken from free range birds...fresh dips and chips...and to be honest, yes, I like to slum it occasionally with some good old fashioned junk food like burgers, fries, and a shake:-) I love all the products you list in the basket and would be honored to receive!

We load up on Whole Foods salads such as curried chicken salad, the great kale salad and anything that strikes our fancy that day. Add chips, fruit, cheese and crackers and beverage of choice-heaven on the beach.
