I love having bruscetta, so the evoo and balsamic vinegar would come in handy. I would make vegan spinach dip for the crackers and probably some edamame hummus too!

I love to have bruschetta for my guests - fresh tomatoes, basil and a little olive oil on toasted baguette. Also fresh fruit and veggies with fun dipping sauces.

I love munching on the raw vegetables and dip. However, sometimes I catch myself just chomping on the veggies- they're so good!

I'd like to have a movie night and snack on all sorts of healthy chips and dips that maybe my friends wouldn't normally select because of either price or odd flavor or texture!!

We just celebrated my mother-in-law's 80th birthday on her apartment building's roof top deck! I brought a platter of tortilla pinwheels - 365 whole wheat tortillas spread with cream cheese, green chilis, jalepeno peppers, chili powder, cilantro and a little lemon juice - roll them up and cut them into bite sized little wheels. Dip in salsa! I also made homemade garlic and green onion hummus that guests dipped homemade pita chips in! It was a great party!! Cold Prosecco was on hand too!

We are huge foodies, so I always have an array of cheeses, a few snappy apps - like bacon wrapped dates... and of course there is always chips, salsa and guac!

When I host a party I always like to include this one: slice rounds of French baguette as thin as possible, top with smoked mozzarella, a basil leaf, a thin slice of tomato, drizzle of evoo, sprinkle if fresh ground black pepper and sea salt. It's like a mini open-faced caprase sandwich.

Like a lot of folks here, my party staple is homemade hummus. Other favorites are guacamole, bruschetta or assorted crostini, and of course a cheese platter!

I have to say that the go-to at our house is the layered dip for baked chips. We don't do it full on traditional, though, because we omit the guacamole (mom's allergic! =S). Instead, we also make cold broccoli salad. Gotta get some green in there somehow!

I like to serve something really light in the summer before dinner, like homemade mango salsa with jalapenos and garlic, to be dipped up with red and green bell pepper scoops!

what makes my party time awesome isn't the carefully selected music, lighting and theme it's all about great friends in a relaxed environment with low maintenance but delicious food and drink!

A house full of my great friends and family make my party time excellent! As far as "go-to" party snacks, I always make a chocolate dip with melted chocolate and cream & set out an assortment of fruits, pretzels, graham crackers and marshmallows for dipping. I also like making hummus and fresh salsa...can't forget the adult beverages too (what's a party without a couple great wines! My favorite varietal for this hot summer is definitely vinho verde from Portugal.). We're hoping to have our official housewarming party as brand new homeowners sometime in August, and this would definitely be a perfect accompaniment to our fabulous party time.

I mean Stan Mikita's Donuts are always excellent munchies, and you can't go wrong with Cream of Sum Yung Guy, but if those are absent in any inopportune moment, I would not turn my back to the 6 liter bowl of Oasis Hommus and the veggie tray until I can see the bottom of the container. Schwiingg
