Charoset Challenge

A classic Passover condiment- charoset is smiply a fruit and nut chutney that actually deserves a spot at any table any time! Serve with roasted meats or vegetables, and don't fret if there are leftovers; charoset is tasty on a toasted sandwich, with or without Irish cheddar cheese.  Whole Foods Market Chefs will challenge each other to the best charoset recipe and customers will be able to vote on their favorite.  The winning recipe we be featured in our Prepared Foods chef’s case the following week. 

Ask an Expert: Spring Milk Cheeses

Our very own Certified Cheese Professional, Margaret Stafford, will lead this discussion and sampling of the seasonal cheeses made with Spring milk.  We’ll accompany the cheeses with a selection of wine and beer, and discuss how Spring milk influences the flavor in some of our favorite cheeses. This class will be in the Queen's Corner tasting loft, located in our Specialty department. $20 per person payable in cash or credit upon arrival. 

2nd Annual Beer-Offs!

Basketball ain't the only game in town! Taste eight different beers in this bracket-style battle to determine which brew will reign as the Beer-Off champ! Our beer team will talk about what makes each beer special and you'll have the chance to vote for your favorite in each round of pairings.
