After you place an order online, you’ll receive a notification when your order is ready for pickup. Before arriving, check in through your confirmation email or Amazon app to let us know you’re on your way. When you arrive, follow the parking signs and we’ll bring out your order. For the best pickup experience, checking in lets us know that you’re on your way, provides you with instructions on where to go when you arrive at the store, and helps to reduce your wait time. You can opt in to sharing location with us for the most seamless experience, or provide us with your ETA.
Why am I asked to turn location tracking on during my pickup order?

You may change, cancel or add items to your Whole Foods Market order at any point up until your shopper begins picking your groceries.
What if a product I order is no longer available?
We do our best to ensure all our products are in stock at checkout, but occasionally, an item will run out after you’ve placed your online order. In these situations, our team members are trained with deep product knowledge and will suggest an item substitution. We try to substitute similar products including brand, price and flavors. You will then be able to accept or decline the replacement items in your order. If you do not want a substitution on an item, select “Don’t Substitute” during the checkout process so our team members know to skip the replacement.
How will I be notified of substitutions in my order?
If you have text messaging set up in your Amazon account, you will receive a text alert notifying you that item in your order is out of stock with a suggested replacement. You can accept or decline the replacement within the Amazon in-app chat. You can see which items were replaced in your order on the ‘Order details page’ in your Amazon account.
Can I get alcohol delivered?
Yes. If your order contains alcohol, you will be required to provide identification at the time of delivery.

How long will my order stay at its proper temperature in its packaging?
Our packaging is designed to keep your delivery at the proper temperature during transit. Please be sure to chill any perishables upon delivery
