Located in Waynesboro, Georgia, Byne Blueberry Farms is the oldest organic blueberry farm in the southeast. They can currently be found in the South region.
Byne Blueberries is a family farm run by Dick and Linda Byne and their four daughters. Byne Blueberry Farms has been family owned and operated since 1980 and for over three decades, the Bynes have nurtured these plants and the soil that helps them flourish. The Bynes have blueberry products that have won the “Flavor of Georgia” Contest four times in the last decade and earned Dick the distinction of “Master Farmer” in 2009, the first Organic Farmer in Georgia to win this award. The 20 acre patch off Burke County’s Story Mill Road is the perfect spot for growing the Byne’s signature Organic Rabbiteye Blueberries. This special breed of berries has become a local favorite because of its naturally sweet taste.
