Chef and restaurateur Brian Malarkey is a mentor on ABC's new cooking competition show The Taste (Tuesdays 8|7c). Malarkey is the owner of eight restaurants throughout San Diego, Scottsdale and Austin, and author of Come Early, Stay Late. After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu in Portland, he became executive chef and partner of The Oceanaire in San Diego. Then in 2010, Brian opened his first restaurant, Searsucker. Now, Malarkey is sharing his talents with Whole Story readers, ABC viewers and aspiring chefs nationwide.
