Justin Miloro here. As part of my work on our Global Whole Body Team, I have the privilege of overseeing our national music program. You’ve probably seen the CDs we offer in our stores. What you may not have seen is our recently launched Artist Discovery Series. As our national music program grew, we thought it would be fun and exciting to use our stores as launching pads for new artists that are not very well known. We partnered with Inspire Entertainment, who are at the forefront of non-traditional music initiatives, and our Artist Discover Series was born. Done! Every three months we will launch a new artist and sell their CD at a wonderful price. The Series launched in May with Greg Laswell from San Diego, and he is quickly proliferating many avenues. You might have heard his music recently on “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Without a Trace,” “Cold Case,” “Smallville” and many others. Currently, we are excited to feature Oren Lavie. Oren’s CD, “The Opposite Side of the Sea” has only been released in the EU and has been wonderfully received. His music is now going to be featured on all of the new General Motors “Green Car” commercials. Our stores will be the only place in the US where you can buy his CD for the next three months!
