At Whole Foods Market, we offer a lot of great products, and many of the companies who make them are doing amazing humanitarian works as well. We'd like to take a moment of your time to introduce you to two truly extraordinary vendors of ours: Three Sisters Cereal and Odwalla. These two companies are both doing their part to help with relief efforts in Haiti, each in their own unique way. Three Sisters, the natural cereal company, has teamed up with the American Refugee Committee and will, for the month of April, donate $1 for every bag of its Three Sisters® brand cold cereal or box of Three Sisters® brand instant oatmeal purchased at Whole Foods Market stores nationwide, up to a maximum of $100,000. Odwalla, the California juice company, has specially created "Haiti Hope Mango Lime-Aid" to help rebuild Haiti's devastated mango export industry. 100% of the profits from the sale of this special lime-aid are donated to the Haiti Hope Project. This partnership is committed to the long-term needs of the Haitian people and to supporting a sustainable mango industry with Haitian farmers. Moreover, both Odwalla and Three Sisters are featured partners in our Let's Retake Our Plates campaign to make us all more conscious of our food decisions. (Odwalla even has an Earth Month coupon available.) They are supporting us in getting the word out about thinking before we eat. We encourage you to support them in return. Both of these companies are shining examples of corporate civic responsibility and humanitarianism.
