Kids Cook: Pies and Tarts – For Ages 10 to 12
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
This class teaches young bakers everything they need to know to craft glorious desserts perfect for the fall season. There’s no better time for kids to learn the basics of pastry and baking. They’ll start with preparing flaky and sweet pie crust dough and then make a variety of pies and tarts they can make at home to grace the holiday table. Students will take home one petite pie to share with friends and family. Snacks will be served.
MENU: Apple Galette with Caramel Sauce; Chocolate Chip Pie; Cinnamon Pop Tarts; and Pumpkin Pie with Gingersnap Crust.
