Goat Cheese Spread with Lavender and Honey

Makes about 12 servings
Serve this tangy spread with crusty bread, seasonal fruits and a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Light orange blossom honey or robust eucalyptus honey would complement the cheese and fragrant lavender.
Ingredients: 
  • 12 ounces soft goat cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons dried culinary lavender
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Whisk together goat cheese, heavy cream, lavender, honey and sea salt until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning.
