Chocolate. Oh where to begin. Apricots and hazelnuts or with dark chocolate adding for some reason the name eludes me it is the little red dried berry that is a protien and is sold in bulk at whole foods for about 20$.

How about puffed millet, the Queen of Grains because it's so alkaline. Or mango or papaya bits. I never see cashews in a chocolate bar...I'd love that combo.

A think a hint of chili peppers or curry, especially given their health benefits (anti-oxidant power), would make for a delightful treat and could spice things up a bit! Yum!

I have tried all types of things in chocolate bars (mostly picked up at Whole Foods), cherries, chili's, nibs, nuts, ginger, etc. so quinoa is just one more "hmmm..." for me. I guess to make it "different" with added protein we could try ground cricket and cardamom chocolate bars.

I have always loved chili peppers in my chocolate. The idea coming from Mexican hot chocolate which includes chili powder.

Organic Avocado and Raw Cacao Nibs would be an absolutely delicious and nutritious addition to a chocolate bar. Avocado is a stellar stand in for butter in vegan recipes and lends a creaminess to all types of dessert recipes and smoothies. I think it would be great added to a chocolate bar along with some delicious cacao nibs for crunch and extra chocolate taste!

I've added spicy chili extract and garam masala for a spicy and deliciously flavorful dark chocolate bar. Or, alternatively, drizzle it onto blueberries, or on top of brownies. :)
