All around the country, people are welcoming a fall favorite: pumpkin. Whether beautifully displayed in the produce department, artfully carved on doorsteps, or pureed and baked into pies and cakes, this beloved gourd can be found just about everywhere. But, one place you might not expect to find our sweet and creamy orange friend is in pasta sauce. That’s where Cucina Antica Tuscany Pumpkin Pasta Sauce comes in.

Inspired by Italy’s rustic harvest, Chef Neil Fusco has created a unique sauce made with peak-harvested pumpkin, flavorful San Marzano tomatoes, and an aromatic combination of garlic, rosemary and sage, all simmered with a touch of cream and perfected in small batches.

This soul-warming sauce is robust enough to toss with cheese ravioli but light enough to drizzle over sautéed vegetables. Want to pull together an easy vegetarian dinner? Just serve Cucina Antica Tuscany Pumpkin Pasta Sauce with you favorite whole wheat pasta and pair with our Green Salad with Beets and Warm Walnut-Crusted Chèvre for a complete fall meal.

The possibilities are endless with a sauce as savory and versatile as this. Want to get your hands on some of this perfect fall pantry staple?

Not too exotic, but I like whole wheat pasta with a salmon and pesto sauce. Basil from my garden, wild salmon from Whole Foods.

The only way I can get my family to eat spaghetti is to mix regular sauce with alfredo sauce. That is as untraditional as we get. This would be a wonderful addition to the pantry!

As a kid, my mom would always make this wonderful cream sauce with spinash and nutmeg. The recipe is still my go-to for a comforting evening

When I ran out of Cucina Antica pasta sauces:( I'd try to make do with making my own version of pasta sauce - a pesto type most of the time. I have some left over vegies like broccoli (steamed and chopped into tiny pieces), minced garlic (mm mm garlic) and generous 1/2 cup of grated cheese, preferably parmesan, bacon chopped, and heavy cream w salt n pepper for seasoning with a side of Whole Food's sausages yum yum :) a dash of lemon juice would we a nice kick too :)

We don't care for heavy tomato sauce on pasta and use a variety of other things. Classics like oil and garlic, flavors from other cuisines like salsa or Indian spices, It's think out of the box like the pasta is a blank canvas and anything goes.

After growing tired of marinara sauce, I try just about all sauces I hear about and can find the recipe for. I guess at this point my favorate sauce is butter and garlic, but my opinion can easily be changed!
