I love trying new & "interesting" products. Especially when they're all natural. The first time I saw this sauce I instantly knew I was serving it over gnocchi, topped with with toasted pecans. My twist on gorgonzola & walnut sauce. It was a hit!

I think my favourite unusual sauce for pasta was a beet and arugula sauce with white wine and capers I had in Moscow for homemade gnocchi with goat cheese. It was light and filling, but also deep and earthy enough in winter.

My favorite non traditional pasta sauce would actually have to be pumpkin. I just love the taste and it always reminds me of fall and the upcoming holidays.

I'm not sure if it's considered non-traditional, but my favorite pasta sauce hands down is pesto. I absolutely love Pesto-based pizzas, pasta sauces, and bruschetta topping!

My favorite non-traditional sauce is asian-inspired... It's a mixture of coconut milk, vegetable broth, and curry spices. I like to put it over noodles instead of rice for a different twist on an Indian inspired dish.

These sauces all sound so great! I guess I've never really tried a "non-traditional" pasta sauce, but now I will. This pumpkin sauce and the butternut squash sauces others have mentioned sound delicious.

Hmm - I don't know that I've actually tried many alternative pasta sauces. I've mostly stuck with the tried and true marinara. This pumpkin sauce sounds delish! Especially with cheese ravioli as you mention. Other than that, I'd say a butter sauce for some sweet potato gnocchi is about the most daring I've been!
