I lost 50 pounds on a low glycemic index program two years ago. My sister started the E2 Diet and and now my husband and I have decided change to a plant-based diet. So much to learn, but we are loving it so far. We are also trying to eat low sodium, and find that many of the processed plant based foods are quite high. We hope this will change.

I decided that Jan 1st was the day...I have read all the literature, watched the movies and the only thing left was to put my money where my mouth was. So I stopped eating all the crap and started juicing breakfast and lunch, snacks are fruit and having a big salad with my dinner. Dinner is now 'Rip approved' and I appreciate all his ideas on what to eat. His book is informative, easy to follow and totally what I needed to hear. I have lost 4 pounds this week and I owe it all to Rip, his Dad, Dr. Fuhrman, Dr. McDougall, Dr. Barnard, Dr. Campbell....

I started my plant based diet 3 months ago. I have been doing great, I lost 27 lbs and feel wonderful. My 2013 goal is to lose 15 more pounds, get my blood pressure down so I can get off the meds and to become a better cook. I want to make healthy recipes that everyone will enjoy - especially my husband who is the typical meat and potatoes guy. I am loving my new life - feeling full of energy, very happy and very free from all of the negative, guilty feelings I have from eating so poorly. I am now in control. Thank you for all that you do! <3

It is a great idea to make pre-packaged plant-healthy food available... to compete with the unhealthy foods that most shoppers buy at the store. People will be more likely to buy and, more importantly, EAT it!

I have been an athlete most of my adult life. I own two bicycle stores in Indianapolis and Carmel Indiana with my two brothers. All three of us are living a plant strong life. This is my second go around. The first attempt resulted in some weight loss but it didn't take long for that to not work out. While I exercise plenty and people would hardly call me over weight, I was never happy with my progress. In early November of 2012 I decided I was going to start over, and this time no dairy, no oil, no meat, no chicken, no fish, no refined sugar. The results speak for themselves yesterday I weighed in at the gym with my trainer standing by, a guy I have worked with for the last four years. "Charlie this is the lightest and leanest I have ever seen you, 171! " that is down 30 pounds. It's the hardest and easiest thing I have ever done. Life changes are hard and I had good habits, I just had a lousy diet. I have never felt better. My blood pressure is still slightly elevated but I am determined to keep working and driven to get off the bp medicine. The best thing about this plan is I eat all the time and I am never hungry between meals. The challenge is taking responsibility for what I eat. Eating out is the hardest thing I do. Thank God for whole foods!

I am on day 5 of the Engine 2 Diet 28 day challenge. All I can say is "Yummy"! I tried a bowl of Rip's Big Bowl making it from scratch at a local Whole Foods. I new about it because I had just got done reading his book. Then I decided to get serious.

I am continuing on my decision to eat whole plant based. I would love to be able to shop @ Whole Foods & try the many Engine 2 items, but alas the closest Whole Foods is over 200 miles from me. Could you do something about that & put one in Pensaola, Fl?
