Etsy + Whole Foods Market = Ingredients for Creativity

By Elizabeth Leader Smith, November 2, 2013  |  Meet the Blogger  |  More Posts by Elizabeth Leader Smith

Between travel, school plays and work functions, does a homemade holiday seem as unrealistic as flying reindeer?

The magic of the season is that it’s easier than ever to celebrate creativity. Together Whole Foods Market® and Etsy – a marketplace where people around the world connect to buy and sell unique goods – are decking the halls and bringing you curated gifts and DIY craft tutorials from Etsy’s community of artists, designers and vintage collectors.

Holiday Better Bag

Take creativity home with you

This holiday, creativity is in the bag! Simply purchase our limited-edition reusable A Better Bag™ featuring custom artwork by Matte Stephens, a painter and illustrator and an Etsy seller since 2007.

For about $1 each and available in two sizes, these sturdy bags make beautiful gift bags they won’t toss. They’re also pretty sacks for lunches and just a really sweet way to bring home your groceries. But hurry because these bags are only sold at our stores, and they’re only around for a limited time.

DIY Decorating with EtsyDiscover the magic in the making

I love Whole Foods, a healthy neat abundant store. This year I plan to order some Thanksgiving meals for my family of 12 people, if I win the $250 gift card it will make my life much easier.

When will these be available in stores? I shop at WFM daily in NYC and would love to grab handful of both sizes to use and for gifts but haven't seen or heard anything about them. :)

That is the same price as throwaway bags from the dollar store. I know what I am wrapping everyone's gift in this Christmas. And thank you for supporting handcrafters!

@TIFFANY - These should currently be in our stores. If for some reason you can't find them, let us know we can follow up with the store!

Thank you for supporting handmade and Etsy. As a seller on Etsy, and a craft show vendor of handmade items, I truly appreciate Whole Foods' support for all of those who sell handmade! Your store has always been awesome - but now Whole Foods' has just moved to a whole new level! Thanks again!

@MAGGIE - I do not have info on each store's local events. I would suggest calling your local store directly to see what crafts they have in store!

@COLLEEN - Since this was a Spring design, most of our stores have sold through these already. We do have a store in Austin that can ship products if they still have this design in stock. You can call them at 512-542-2243 to check if they still have this option in stock and if so, they can ship it to you.
