Clementines; however, I'd like to try a satsuma as I've never had one.

The whole family can devour clementines! Small enough for the littlest of my kids to hold and eat, and yet delightful enough that my husband and I will grab one and eat it for a quick snack on the go. Mmmm clementines!

While satsumas have a lovely flavor, NOTHING says the holidays to me like the taste of a wonderful clementine. It brings me back to days off school, curled on the couch next to the fire, wrapped in a blanket reading a great book with an ever increasing pile of clementine peels by my side. I could eat a dozen a day! I still can...

I grew up in Seattle, where we brought in the holiday season with satsumas!! My sister and I also knew that the toe of our Christmas stocking would have a satsuma in it. When I moved to DC for college, the first winter I heard people talk about "clementines" I had no idea waphat they were talking about! Well I've been in DC for over a decade and while I'll eat clementines, I dream of satsumas. I'd be beside myself to win a case.

Like 'em both but I think satsumas have that little extra oomph -- or is it zing!

Definitely satsumas. They are ugly but the skin is so loose you can peel one anywhere, even at the stop light in your car.

Satsuma! I can peel it in one piece and put the rind back together as a tease/point of pride.
