I love making my own broth, but when I feel sick or the weather doesn't allow me to run to the store for ingredients, it's lovely to have some high quality broth in the house to make soup with whatever is lurking in my pantry and crisper drawer. The best soup is the soup you really, really needed, and that tends to be when I pull out the pre-made broth. Emergency, ice-box clean-out, chicken soup. Sometimes, it is just what we all need.

Ron says …

I use the broth to make risotto and just follow the recipe on the box.

Julia says …

I think I use broth in 90% of what I make! I use it steaming vegis or fish! I add it to anyhthing I'm sautéing. I've used it instead of water or milk in recipes. And of course any soup and stew! I could definitely use a stock!

Linda Sidowski says …

There are so many things that I will use this broth to make! Of course, chicken soup will be one of the recipes, but I would like to experiment with new things and recipes. I also like to use broth instead of water when making quinoa, rice, or other grains. My dogs like a little broth drizzled on their kibble as a treat, too! Yay! Thank you. I love Pacific brand and love organic.

Elizabeth Fleming says …

I love using chicken broth to make wonderful chicken soups. I add the broth to the chicken bones and carcasses of chicken roasts and add carrots, celery, potatoes, kale and boil it till the goodness 'leaks' out of the used chicken. So healthy and comforting plus you are recycling the chicken rather than throwing it away.

Tiffany Bruno says …

I use broth in mashed potatoes.

Megan says …

I plan to make several items this holiday season. 1. Gumbo (family recipe) 2. Brussels sprouts w/ prosciutto 3. Pumpkin soup 4. Risotto with butternut squash, leeks, and basil 5. Squash with kale and potatoes All of my items use broth. By receiving this, I would save money and have more flavorful items than the generic broth I normally have to buy. I would also have to make one or two of the recipes listed above to get the best flavorful meals. I would prefer the low sodium because as a dietitian, I know it’s better for our health. As a daughter, I would be making these meals healthy enough for my father, who had quadruple bypass, to enjoy. Thank you!
