For all she’s done, mom deserves a floral gift that will really wow her. With so many choices it’s hard to pick out just the right flowers. Fear not!

Our floral options vary by store, but you’ll be able to choose from ready-made Whole Trade® opens in a new tab bouquets or pick your own flowers to arrange them yourself. The experts in our floral departments are ready to give you a hand.

Here are some ideas for all types of moms.

Bohemian MomShe’s artsy-crafty and probably has paint on her jeans. Sunflowers are a boho-chic choice for this Mom. Pair them with some eucalyptus foliage for an arrangement with natural beauty. Or choose a bright and colorful Whole Trade arrangement in a mason jar that she can reuse later. Whole Trade flowers help give back to the community they were grown in!

Romantic Mom

She loves the color pink, soft frilly petals and old-fashioned style. There are lace curtains in her windows and a fresh linen cloth on the table. Look for flowers in soft hues like lavender and light pink. Spray roses are pretty without being formal. And baby’s breath gives a soft, airy quality to your arrangement. Think about adding a bit of whimsy with asclepias pods or succulents.

Classic MomShe wears a twin set with a single strand of pearls. Her hair is a mid-length bob and her house stylishly showcases antiques. You can’t possibly go wrong with always gorgeous long-stem roses. They’re the traditional way to say “I love you” and “Thanks for all you do.” For something a little different, a potted orchid makes a dramatic display that mom can enjoy for years.

Stylish Mom

Always fashion-forward, this mom loves bold colors and texture and is just a little bit daring. Is her manicure done in gray or navy nail polish? Then stargazer lilies are a stunning choice. Look for arrangements with bold contrasting colors like the vivid yellows and oranges of gerbera daisies paired with cobalt blue veronica or deep-purple statice. Go for unusual greenery like chartreuse asclepias pods.

Outdoorsy MomShe’s most happy taking a hike or digging in the dirt. Look for multi-colored bouquets that have a just-picked-from-garden feel – think hydrangeas, mums, gerbera daisies and pretty alstromerias. Or forgo the flowers and give a collection of potted herbs, seeds or garden plants.

Soccer Mom

Does she run the household taxi service, cheer the loudest from the sidelines and cook meals on the fly for a house full of hungry mouths? Is her philosophy that “life is better when you’re laughing”? This busy Mom will adore fun-loving tulips because they practically arrange themselves and brighten up any room. We are sure to have her favorite color, too!

In May, my choice (and I’m a Mom) would be to receive peonies. They’re romantic, sexy, fragrant and exuberant; they’re everything a flower should be. (Peonies can also be a little bit hard-to-find if the weather isn’t just right for their blooms. So grab them when you see them!)

Even if you mom is boldly defies any “labels,” our floral departments will have gorgeous blooms to choose from and you’ll be sure to find something to suit her tastes and your budget.
