What's New in October

By Allison Burch, October 9, 2012  |  Meet the Blogger  |  More Posts by Allison Burch

Earthy flavors. Knobby sweaters. Rustic textures. Comfy socks. Steamy soups. This is what I love about October. If you’re ready to get all warm and cozy, too – from a hearty, nutty breakfast, to fall bread baking, to a dollop of something sweet on still-warm pie – then we have some delicious new items that you must try.

They have passed the testing and tasting of our grocery coordinators and meet our careful Quality Standards. (That means they’re free of hydrogenated fats and artificial preservatives, colors and flavors - wahoo!) And each month, we pick a dozen or so to call to your attention. Here are a handful of new products — or new varieties of old favorites — that we think you'll especially enjoy.

Take a look at what’s new and remember you can add them to your online shopping list by signing in on our website. Since these are new to the market, you’ll be among the first to try them. Take a minute to tell us and other shoppers what you think by rating and reviewing them on our product pages.

What a wonderful roundup of fall foods. I just moved closer to a Whole Foods and it has made a huge difference in our daily eating habits, expanding the prospects of healthy, non-GMO foods all around. I'm always excited to see what's new and am especially grateful that you are carrying Saffron Road's new snacks, as it's a company I am wholly familiar with and trust in their sourcing of healthy ingredients.

Is the Love Crunch Banana Bread a seasonal item or will you be carrying it all year?
