Great recipes! I can't wait to try them. Love this video blog.

A guacamole recipe really? That was a little too boring and basic. The salsa and salad were more interesting.

Penny Pincher, thanks for the feedback. We'll try to include more info on techniques and tricks! ErinK, duly noted! Thank you for the candid feedback. The more shows we do, the more we'll get to know our audience and what you want to see! Thanks again, Scott

A good slicing tip: Halve the Avocado as shown, then slice the avo while in the skin longways And then scoop out with a table spoon in one scoop, so push the spoon in agains the skin on one end ... and whola a sliced avo, ready to go, no mess no fuss. Otherwise the best way with avo (besides adding some chille sauce and scooping it out with a teaspoon) is to have it on warm wholegrain bread with butter and bacon! Eat more Avocados

I clicked on your video after a busy work day and REALLY enjoyed your show on avacados. I've printed the recipes and can't wait to stop by Whole Foods in Annapolis to pick up the ingredients!!! I'm looking forward to see what you'll whip up on your next show.

LOVED the video! I never knew the correct way to pit and slice an avocado until now! I would love to see more not-so-common fruits and vegetables. The recipes looked great too. I also love avocado on whole wheat toast with fresh tomatoes and mayo - yum! I subscried to the feed and cannot wait to see what else you are going to do! Being a vegetarian, I hope you do most (if not all) items that are vegetarian. Thanks!

I really enjoyed the recipes that were featured. Thanks

I like the videos. I think it would be great if each Whole Foods store would have a special section that has all the ingredients (non perishable) items available so a customer can quickly pick up the items that were featured in the video. (Plus, having a separate section, if signed properly would be good PR regarding the new video.) After the catfish video, I spent a lot of time looking for the ingredients and was told that not all Whole Foods carry the same ingredients. I think if a recipe is shown on the video, all ingredients should be available at Whole Foods. I love shopping Whole Foods and really believe in the company. Keep up the informative videos!

Thanks to Brenda, Regiane, Cassie, Lisa, Silvia, Gloria & Odette for the positive comments! We're happy to hear you are enjoying the show and the recipe content! Please keep watching and send us your thoughts. Cynthia, we do try hard to make sure that all the ingredients are available at all of our stores. Because we're a unique and decentralized company, our stores do have the ability to make their own decisions on what they do and don't carry for the most part, which actually is a good thing. Each store can focus on local products and tailor the products to the customer's tastes and requests! So, there may be a few times when one recipe ingredient isn't at every single Whole Foods Market, but they should be very few and far between. However, your feedback about making the shopping easier is a wonderful idea. Let us think about how we can experiment with that! Thanks, all, for the wonderful feedback! Scott

The avocado/corn salad was great. The lime gave it a little extra jazz as did a top sprinkling of whole cilantro stalks (my idea). I like the videos and I love the idea of having all ingredients in one place to make the featured recipes. Hats off to Whole Foods, my favorite store. Liz

Scott - you should have your own show on the Food Network - this is brilliant! Great job!

i think videos will be a great asset. and starting with avocado recipes really caught my eye. i've been eating and loving avocados for over 60 years (in the first 30 or so years i thought the only way to eat them was on the half shell with a little salt). but now i use them in so many other ways and i am always looking for more ideas. keep up the good work.

Scott Simons says …

Liz, glad you liked the recipe and I like your additions. Darlene, let's not jump to conclusions here. I'm a full-fledged Whole Foods Market team member, and I don't wanna leave! Thank you Linda S, Teri and Rob for the positive feedback.... And as a sneak peek: Coming Monday: Prosciutto! We're doing a really great, really easy pasta dish that seems almost too simple but is packed with delicious flavor...if you use the secret ingredients. Scott

I am a Whole Foods junkie. I have been cooking and using Whole Foods products for many years. This is a wonderful addition to an already fabulous company. I am going over to the outdoor pet food tasting this afternoon so while I am there I will pick up the ingredients for the Corn and Avocado Salad and maybe a mango or two. Thanks for the recipes. Can't wait to try them. Looking forward to the Prosciutto.
