video posts are completely worthless to me, as I have neither the time nor inclination to watch them at any point in my busy day. written transcripts or comprehensive summaries would help immensely.

Hi Kitty, We understand that not everyone has time to listen to the podcasts, so we provide a summary for all of our Be Good to Your Whole Body audio podcasts. And yes - our mistake, we forgot to include the link with these! I'll remedy that ASAP. The one for this series is available here: http://blog.wholefoodsmarket.com/be-good-to-your-whole-body-summer-needs/ Thanks!

Sorry but do NOT use Sloggers insect shield clothing. It uses the man-made chemical Permethrin which is is on the EPA's list of possible human carcinogens. Go with an herbal insect repellent. Chemicals like that are too unpredictable to be safe.

Swerve is an all natural DEET-free insect repellent that's approved by the EPA and patented. It works and smells great, better than Burt's which smells like a citronella candle. It's been available in Chicago suburban farmers markets and the folks selling it are totally cool and enthusiastic about their invention. It's called Swerve. You can buy it direct online from organnica.net or on Amazon. I know they are trying to get submitted to Whole Foods for next season. It's safe to use on pets too. Keeps the gnats out of their eyes. My family swears by it. I agree, anything to keep DEET off my kids me and my pets.
