Brasstown Beef

This blog post previously contained an outdated video about a supplier. We have removed the video to prevent confusion. We have always believed in and fought for the improvement of welfare for farm animals industry-wide, and all the pork, beef, chicken and turkey in our fresh meat cases comes from producers who have achieved certification to Global Animal Partnership’s 5-Step® Animal Welfare Rating system.

Steve Whitmire's family has been farming in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina since the early 1800's.  As a kid, Steve's chore was to look after the lone family cow.  Today Steve oversees a much larger herd of Angus/Braunvieh cattle on 1,000+ acres in Brasstown, North Carolina, ensuring they always have sufficient spring water, ample grass, freshly mixed feed and room to roam.

Just wondering if you carry Brasstown Beef at your Charleston, SC or Columbia, SC store. I am looking to stock up and haven't had a chance to go the NC lately. Thank you, Lisa

@LISA - Since our suppliers will differ between stores, I would suggest reaching out to the Charleston (843.971.7240) or Columbia (803.509.6700) store to find out exactly what they have in stock.
