It is the time we share at Whole Foods that makes a "Day"be it "mother's", "Fathers", "Grandparents" "children". Since your staff enjoys sharing your products, even the shyest among us has a chance to try products they might never have...and this provides the opportunity to share, speak, listen, and to be heard. Sharing and this time, is what Whole Foods brings for us.

We have many things that we love at Whole Foods. My favorite for my daughter is Keifer ProBugs. For myself I enjoy the 365 mint lotion and shower wash. It is a nice way to end the day. I enjoy the baked goods and easy meals to go via the counter or the salad bar or hot bar, they are great for the late nights when it is hard to get dinner cooked at a reasonable hour. Thanks Whole Foods for all that you give us! Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's out there!

I like the Reed's Ginger Brew, Blue Sky Sodas, Tea & Coffee choices. Health & Beauty aids. My kids love the fresh nut butters and bulk dried fruits. For me, just to be able to visit Whole Foods, alone, helps me relax and be a better mom... sip a latte and shop... always find new items to try out too!

Whole Foods is close by and a great way to treat mom on Mothers Day with a Healthy Lunch idea or Dinner Idea. If you have a question of a certain situation of a recipe, the Produce People can help u with that or give you a great idea of how to do it other way. Thank God for People to help.

My favorite pop- in- meal from the Whole Foods salad bar is tuna with Fuji apples and cranberries, seaweed salad and marinated mushrooms. Now I have my daughters and friends hooked on it. And the Alba cream is one of the best body creams I've ever tried. I buy it for everyone as a gift and recommend it to all my clients.

Being a from Boston, I love clambakes. Homemade clamchowder from whole foods, shrimp cocktail, crabcakes, and a delicious fresh fish from the seafood deli, accompanied by a crusty loaf of french bread and a strawberry shortcake from the bakery is all I need for a complete my Mother's Day. Thank you Whole Foods.

I'm a stepmom. I love a lot of products at Whole Foods. My friends and family tell me it's too expensive to shop at Whole Foods. I don't think that's true. I know what the best values are for me and I know what makes me happy. I love the chocolate covered marshmallows in the bakery case. Just one of those is unbelievably good and it costs about $1.50. And, there is usually a sample of something really good which I totally enjoy. I love the organic strawberries and I usually only buy them on sale. They are on sale often enough. The organic lettuce, radishes and avocados are good buys usually. I tend to buy those. I sometimes buy bulk spices and they are a good buy. I use the Whole Foods coupons a lot. I used one for Rudi's whole wheat bread recently and my mom and I each got a loaf and used the buy 2 get $1.00 off coupon. I really like the organic 365 orange juice. It's good. Nature's path cereals are on sale a lot and I use the coupons and it's a really good deal. They are loaded with fiber. One cup of Nature's Path cereal has 10 grams of Fiber a lot of the time. I love the Tazo organic darjeeling tea and I used a coupon for that. I like the grain sweetened sunspire chocolate chips because they do not spike your blood sugar as much. They are on sale off and on. I love the 365 organic pinto beans and garbanzo beans. They are cheaper than anyone else. I tell my friends and family you just have to look for those good buys. The 365 organic pasta is good and reasonable. 365 organic omega three eggs are very reasonable. The organic 365 catsup is really good and cheap. The 365 beets do not have sugar and are cheap. The 365 organic popcorn is usually very good. The spring water is good and the 365 plastic bags are very reasonable. I really could go on and on. My point is if you look for those good buys they are there. It makes me happy to find those great buys and the 365 organic line is terrific! My stepdaughter and mom both shop at whole foods and they find things they really like. My mom loves blueberries, stonyfield farms vanilla ice cream, the omega eggs, rudi's bread and the fish sticks. My stepdaughter buys produce for the preschool she runs. Thank you, Whole Foods, for being there for all of us!

Put the kids to bed or send them on a sleepover. Hand the TV remote to your significant other (and watch his jaw drop!). Then head for the kitchen and brew up a Mighty Leaf African Nectar Tea latte - unbelievably delicious and caffeine-free! Light a Pacifica Nerola Orange Blossom Candle, pop in a Putumayo CD and hop in the tub with some Grapefruit Bergamot Bubble Bath for some quiet me-time! Ooh, soothing bliss!

Debbie P says …

I love the dried fruit mix and vegetable mixes in the bulk foods. They make a great snack. Also, the Cascade Fresh yogurt. I'm partial to the fact it's sweetened with fruit juice. The bulk field greens in the produce section are a favorite, as well. I'm a tea fan and always have to peruse the tea aisle on each visit. The cheeses are also a popular choice. With each visit, I try to select a variety I've never tried before. My only complaint is the distance I have to drive.

Su Gacobbe says …

MY favorite is the Brown Cow yogurt with the yummy cream on top.

Heather says …

As a mother of 4, I enjoy a cup of Allegro Pomegranate Green Tea with a bit of raw honey or a handful of dark chocolate almonds from the bulk section for a quick pick-me-up. Other personal favorites from Whole Foods include pumpkin apple tea bread and chocolate chunk scones from the bakery as well as chicken pot pie from the kitchen. Thank you, Whole Foods!

I don't know when Blue Bonnet became Whole Foods, but I have been a faithful customer for a good 25 years. I love the organic fruits and vegetables. Nothing beats the cheeses or the greek yogurts. I also frequent the prepared counter for quick meals and "homecooked" food to take to pot lucks. I love my neighborhood Whole Foods in Richardson, TX, and the friendships I've made with the people who work there.

The best thing I could do for my Mother right now is to buy her some grapefruit seed extract spray for her nose which kills viruses and would hopefully help her from getting the Swine flu. For a double whammy against catching the flu, I would also get her the grapefruit seed extract ear drops. And since it might be possible for the virus to get into her eyes, I would buy her some wrap around sunglasses. I guess some hand cleaner would be nice too, but in my opinion, not nearly as important as the first few items. Then if she doesnt have the flu on Mother's Day, I will fix her a feast of healthy raw food!!!

Tracy says …

I have already put my mother's day order in with my hubbie...your wonderful fresh sockeye salmon, smosa's with mango salsa, grilled asparagus and a fresh berry tart. A tall order, but Whole Foods makes it easy to get done.

Kelly says …

Just walking into WF is a treat for me. Each week the cashiers ask if I found everything I needed and my response is always...yes and more. Our family thrives on the delicious organic produce and succumbs to our sweet tooth in the bakery section....chocolate chip cookies are our weakness. We have discovered so many favorites. Here are a few: salmon candy (when in season), Vanilla tea, our probiotics and vitamins, chocolate covered almonds, 365 broccoli florets, freshly ground honey-roasted peanut butter, and sushi. Actually, our list continues but we are now craving a WF fix. :)

Rebecca Gallant says …

We love the grill where we get salmon regularly and whatever two vegetables are being served. It is fabulous for under $10!!! And, the salmon is enough for two !!!!

Donna says …

My favorite part of shopping at Whole Foods is the wonderful service that the employees give to the shoppers. They are always willing to go out of their way to help. Their help shortens my time in the store and gives me time to do something else.

Jill Petrin says …

If we don't have a saturday night babysitter but want to feel like we are going out to dinner...We'll either get a sampler from the antipasto/cheese bar and enjoy that with some wine after the kids go to bed or get some Sushi to go, since the kids won't eat it we know we won't have to share any.

Sally Cavenaugh says …

I love the no salt 365 organic peanut butter from Whole Foods. It is awesome and it does not contain salt and tastes just as good or better than regular peanut butter. It is great for people on a no salt or low sodium diet.

Allison D'Angelo says …

I love the 365 products that are organic and vegetarian. I am a vegetarian and shop at whole foods often to pick up quick and delicious meals. There is a huge variety and the price is reasonable. I love whole foods!!!

I love everything about your store. It gives me options for raising my new daughter on organic foods and toys that arent harmful. I find myself browsing for hours just because of the careful selection and attention to customers. The cheeses are THE BEST! i love grating cheese on the prepared pizza dough.. DELISH!

Jennifer says …

I love all of the organic products you carry. I love that for most of the non-organic products you carry you do have an organic alternative! I love it! The variety and selection is wonderful and I do all of my food shopping here.

I love the Giovanni hair care products and Burts Bees itemsat Whole Foods. My 4 year old daughter wants gel and mouse to help tame her very curly hair and I can use Giovanni brand without feeling like I am dousing her with awful chemicals and carcinogens. She also wants lipstick like Mommy's--and hte Burts Bees with a hint of color does just the trick, without all the petroleum nastiness of regular lip balm. Our favorite yogurt is Brown Cow. We love Whole Foods for so many grocery and cosmetic items.

My take on a mothers day gift focuses on the thought and the sentiment that either the siblings and/or the partner invests and not so much the commercial value of an object. So, if you've got one of those really smart mom's who always appreciates out of the ordinary, then first I would head for the incense, books, hemp-wares aisle. I'd buy one of those really beefy hemp sacks and I'd put in it some cone incense, smudge and an exotic looking incense holder/plate. I'd find a nice card and I'd add that also. Then I'd include a small but informative book about mom stuff. Then to the bath and body aisle to include a bar or two of 'French Triple Milled' soap, some very fine shea butter lotion, a container of Derma E Poypeptide moisturizing lotion and finally, a bottle of Dr. Hauschka's hair oil and Dr. Hauschka's eye cream. If your mom is still young enough looking and decides to ask, "Do I really look this old, that I will need all of these skin care products to make me look young again?" Just answer; "no mom, but I realize just how over worked you are and I wanted to make sure that you always get the very best."

I like the soy and tutfo stuff that is sold at the store

A favorite recipe that we've been passing from generation to generation is my grandmas "arroz y gondulez" recipe (yellow rice and beans) made with tomato sauce, garlic, onion, olive oil, sazon, rice and choice of beans (traditionally pigeon peas). I'm sure this recipe has been passed for many generations before my grandma, but i know it as her recipe (who is from puerto rico.) Whole foods' ingredients are so fresh that I imagine it's what my grandma got to taste on the island.

Wow...were do I start! I almost shop excusively at my Sonoma Whole Foods..the store is amazing and they always have lots of healthy choices for my kids. I don't have time to read through all the ingredients and at your store I don't have to because I know you do that for me! My kids and I LOVE veggie chips, WF hot dogs, organic yogurt sticks (we freeze them), all the great frozen fruits and vegetables and the fresh ground peanut butter. Thanks for making my life easier!

I drive close to 50 miles to go to Whole Foods and to me, it is an experience, a grocery store I enjoy shopping in because I know I can get whole grain foods, no unnatural additives, a good latte while I shop and a healthy snack or lunch to eat before to keep me from buying out the store!

Dee says …

There are two things that make me think of Mother's Day -- good bread and good berries. Together, I can make a hearty french toast breakfast (I love challah, but potato bread or cinnamon/raisin also do a great job) with a seasonal berry compote that is to die for.

Annabelle says …

I love whole foods, there's so much great stuff to choose from. I can't resist the cranberry walnut bread and I know my mom loves the raw honey on top. A nice cup of tea with that and it's perfect for mother's day !

I love all the 365 Organic products. They're great, inexpensive staples to stock your pantry with, from oils, to beans to tomato sauces to pasta to frozen item. They cover all the bases.

Thanks Whole Foods!!! I don't know what I would do without a market like WF that we can trust and meets all our special needs in one stop. Flowers, Choc. Veg, prepared foods, etc. You are the best. Thanks for the drawing, I know several moms that I would love to pass the card to hoping to make their Mother's Day as special as mine.

My 5 year old son has been going to WF since he has been alive. Most of the time he knows how to distinguish between healthier brands even though he cannot read yet. His favorite aspect of WF is the going up and down the aisles trying out the free samples of food.

I am passionate about eating food that is healhty, especially food that is full of fiber and protein. I am totally energized when I find a healthy food that not only I love, but my family does too. That's why I was more than thrilled when I discovered your Organic Buckwheat Pancake Mix. It can be made totally organic if you use the organic milk, eggs, and oil (we love organic coconut oil in these). We often add fruit and this is a great way to sneak some extra healthy stuff into our children's diet. My husband LOVES to cook and eat breakfast so he makes these almost every Saturday. It's a nice break from cooking for me and a chance to just sit at the table together and enjoy the family and delight in them enjoying a healthy breakfast full of fiber, protein, and a healthy amount of fat and carbs. The whole family LOVES these pancakes and a happy family makes a happy mommy :0)

Our family loves the Whole Foods Market in Chapel Hill. We visit on a weekly basics. We really enjoy their fresh fruits, like the blood oranages, strawberries, and grapes, the cheese section rocks, along with the fresh meats and bakery department. The plant and flowers are awesome. We also get our 5 gallon water bottles filed at WF's. Another great item is their fresh made dips. Yum! Yum!

Pat M says …

Whole Foods is wonderful. I regularly purchase the 365 organic frozen broccoli, spinach and green beans. It's also the only place I purchase my lean ground beef, buffalo and chicken. The prepared foods section is tremendous. Of course, I also cave in and occasionally purchase the great desserts they offer.
