The perfect Mother's Day would be brunch at Whole Foods, so not only do I NOT have to cook, but I don't have to clean! Other good ideas for moms you can't physically bring to the store: The almond body oil from the whole body section, and some soy candles, for a complete relaxation package.

My son gave me a $25 Whole foods giftcard for my birthday last June and I went in and got myself a Tahitian Gardenia gift set from Pacifica, which included a soy candle, body butter and natural soap. I loved it! I even posted a pic of it on Flickr. I'd love a giftcard from Whole Foods any day of the year, and Mother's Day is right around the corner so I hope all my children read this!

At least in Atlanta, the heirloom tomatoes get my thumbs up. Mom is a fan of gluten free selections, among them the Wheat Free Flax waffles. The 365 beans are a staple since we're vegetarians...the 365 chips are nice too!!

i have a loooong list of whole foods favorites. but when it's time to celebrate *me*?? whole foods organic french roast coffee tops the list. what mom doesn't need a pick me up now and then? LOL. my other selections would be: fresh freesia, tulips and ranunculus from the floral section, 365 dark chocolate truffles, burt's bees milk and honey lotion, and a nice round of brie, a loaf of fresh-baked whole grain french bread, and medjool dates!

For mothers day, I recommend a personal "Better Bag" filled with stuff to help mom relax and enjoy her special day. Each bag could be customized but I suggest...one bottle of organic wine-Fairhills Cabernet Sauvignon or a T-sac with a soothing tea blend with chamomile or lemongrass, one Dagoba Lemon Ginger bar, a couple of whole foods soy candles, a bar of Dr. Bonner's lavender soap or even better a Lavendar-Mint Zum bar, Alba Sugar Scrub, and a copy of a great book or magazine to read while relaxing. I like this so much this is what my mom is getting this year...I hope she likes it! I know I would!

The homemade desserts in the bakery are second to none. My mom loves the fruit tarts and napoleons the most. I'll be stopping by to pick some up on my way to visit her!

I love to hit the bulk foods and the bulk spices because you always get the amount you need and it is cheaper than purchasing a packaged product. Not only that, you use less packaging. I never need an entire bottle of most spices so shopping in the bulk spices allows me to purchase the amount I need for the recipe I am making.

I lOVE WHOLE FOODS! Any mom would be delighted to receive your beautiful calla lilies and orchids. I love all of the 365 products, Zen soy puddings, bakery products and your fresh produce. The cheese selection is great and your products are always a healthy choice for us, the hungry ones. I also love the concept of the FEED 100 bag! Whole Foods is my friend. = )

The perfect way to celebrate my mom will include my visit home from Chicago to see her & my dad in Traverse City, Michigan (the cherry capital of the world). My mom loves chocolate & cherries, and so I'll bring home some homemade yummy organic cherry scones & some of the chocolate covered cherries from whole foods. We'll have a nice breakfast together (that my dad & I will prepare for her) and then we'll go into town together to shop & then visit the local wineries for a wine tasting event. My mom loves whole foods, but there is not one up there in Northern Michigan, and so I plan to deliver her a gift basket filled with her favorite non-perishable WF items.

A SIGG bottle with a reusable grocery bag would be a nice gift, or a basket with chocolate truffles, gourmet gumdrops, and a selection of fruit spreads with a scone mix. Another idea would be a beautiful and delicious fruit tart from the bakery.

So tough to pick a favorite...I think that Sambazon Original Acai smoothie paks make great healthy and satisfying popsicles. A perfect afternoon or after dinner treat! Also, don't miss the Shasha spelt ginger snap cookies, but be careful, it's easy to eat the entire container...

I travel from St. Charles to the Town & Country store. The meat is the best! One thing I miss are the toffee(?) scones - my son and I go crazy over those! I don't buy much in the way of canned/dry goods, but do buy produce, dairy, fresh bread and cat food regularly. Thanks for being a great option!

Hands down, the best product you carry for the price, taste, quality, and convenience is the 365 Whole Wheat Tortilla. I can get a pack of them for $1.39 here in western Pennsylvania. Love them! They are great for wraps and also for individual pizzas. As for a splurge, the all butter pound cake, especially made into a fruit parfait at the bakery, is to die for! I used to be able to find my favorite coffee, Raven's Brew-Brewin' Blend, but my local store doesn't seem to have it anymore. I miss that :(. It sure would be great if PA allowed wine to be sold...I have to go to Ohio for that. Thanks for great mac-n-cheese on the food bar and awesome Greek Dressing for my salad. I do buy healthy stuff too, but Mother's Day is about indulgence!

Whole Foods has been long over due in Santa Cruz. I've shopped there so much I feel I am making up for lost time. :) The grass fed ground beef is the best I have ever had. The seafood department has killer crab cakes and fish. Peace, Barb

My mother (74 years old) is from India. When we came, Indian food was nonexistent back in the 60's. Although I was born here, I still love Indian foods. Since my mother is not a prolific cook anymore, we go to Whole foods to buy the Crave Samosas. Since most samosa dont taste to authentic, my mother and I feel like when we eat Crave Samosas it brings us back to our younger days. I think about the days of watching my young vibrant beutiful mom cook samosas from scratch. Those were the days we crave.

Those Kuumba made fragrant oils in the makeup department are wonderful. Scents that don't come from a natural source always make me lightheaded or feel sick. These are made with herbs and flowers and because they are infused in oil I can put a small amount on and the fragrance lasts a long long time but its never overpowering like conventional perfumes.

This is the time to splurge on the items that Mom won't buy for herself. Get all of the natural cosmetics, special organic chocolates and grill her up a grass-fed beef steak!!! Yum!

My very favorite products from Whole Foods are The Laughing Giraffe and Lydia's Organics raw/gluten-free collections. It is SO NICE to be able to find ready made foods that are in line with my diet. Whole Foods really is a life saver! As for the fun stuff, I love the mineral bath, Steaz Iced Teas, Larabars, the curry chicken salad ya'll make and coconut milk ice cream! : )

My pick is the fresh fish counter. I grew up in Maine but have lived in Colorado for over 15 years. When Whole Foods opened here I have gone back to my fish eating ways. I not only enjoy eating the products but I enjoy every trip to the counter where the staff knows how fresh fish should look and smell. They are eager to share their cooking secrets and so am I! My husband just picked up a pound of salmon and a pound of sole today. Fresh fish, it's what's for dinner!
