I first heard Putumayo a couple years back searching for French children's music. I think it was called Children's playground. Loved it!! My son is learning French from my husband and I was thrilled about finding it. He is almost 4 and is really excited about all things Christmas now. I would love to win this for him! One of our favorite Christmas songs is Jingle Bells!

My Christmas CD collection consists of Charlie Brown, Bare Naked Ladies, and Bing Crosby, so I can't wait to hear Celtic Christmas, even though I do love Bare Naked Ladies's rendition of Jingle Bells.

I love the whole CD "Wynton Marsalis Crescent City Christmas Card." One on my favorite songs is "Carol of The Bells". Great with a glass wine, fire in the fireplace, while decorating the Christmas tree. Snow falling helps too. But this music is so good I would listen to it in the middle of summer.

I love the oldest Christmas songs, the ones from France and Wales and England. The Sussex Carol and the Cantebury Carol are two of my favorites, but Angels we have Heard and Carol of the Bells are beautiful too!

I listen to Celtic music all year long and i am really drawn to anything with flute, violin and harp. For Christmas I love anything Harry Connick, Jr., and Rascal Flatts "God Bless Ye Merry Gentlemen" is an all-time Christmas favorite. Of course, Celtic Women Christmas is like listening to angels sing. Merry Christmas Everyone! :)

I absolutely adore Celtic music and my discovery of the Afro Celt Sound System was one of my best finds. I do have a recording that I purchased in New Orleans years ago entitled "The 12 Yaks of Xmas" that I do enjoy. but my two fav recordings of Xmas songs are Mellencamp's "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" and Springsteen's "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town"! :) Happy Holidays!

We've recently have come to love "Dominick The Italian Christmas Donkey". My son just keeps asking for it and we have to wait to chance upon it on the radio or look it up on You tube. It opened up the subject of "why a donkey for Christmas?" and it helped us look into the role of the donkey in the Nativity story as well as how it has been in folk tradition tied to St Nicholas, traveling through the country side giving food and money to the poor.. A Christmas animal indeed- although Dominic is just a funny catchy song- Please record it by one of your fabulous Putumayo artists!

Christmas music is fun any time of the year... I first discovered this when I came across a CD - about 20 years ago - with various artists' versions of well known Christmas songs. My favorite from that disc would have to have been U2's rendition of "Baby Please Come Home." My favorite Christmas song - regardless of who's performing it - would have to be Carol of the Bells with God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen as a close second.
